this /findfriend feature is extremely annoying. Ever heard of a violation of privacy?? Why do you devs insist on making things worse with every publish?? If a friend wants to find me, he/she/it can send me a /tell. Now I am forced to empty my friends list. Thanks again devs. Sheesh.
also the freezing you when your inventory is full is Ludacrous. What if you are standing in a spawn of nightsisters?? You loot something, and suddenly you are frozen. You could accomplish the inventory limitationsby putting that RED banner on the screen that doesn't go away but allow people to at least run/speed away from their enemies. Then they can clear their inventories while they are actually ALIVE. What a concept. Sometimes I think you guys should go around singing "If I only had a brain" cause quite frankly, you don't use it sometimes.

I love the GUI Changes, especially the crafting averages, it's really easy to see now the good resources for whatever I'm making
Keep up the good work, and let them moan about jedi stuff, if it happens they are happy if not then they ain't....hohum

Please bring back text shadowing. When fighting third-person camera the damage numbers are far too small to see, even when the Option->Combat->Size slider is turned up to max. /bugged.
Also noticed that avatars seem to be looking at the right shoulder of a targetted peer instead of right at them. Same thing for NPCs. /bugged.
I use /con anyway since the results are always wrong (Master Fencer), so the radar feature is useless.

From the Stratics HOC Chat Log -- 8/12/04:
[18:47] (Brekee) *Jospre* Why do Smugglers get no love. Currently on test a stealth Nerf went in that prevents WUK's, AUK's, PLK's, MolClamps, etc. from pulling auto from crates. What was the reasoning for this move as it now really slows down the slicing process expecially for large orders.
[18:48] (TH)
The autopulling from crates was the result of a change to a different part of the system. I have support from the team to change it back. its just a matter of time now. Sorry for the inconvenience and yes we do love smugglers
This change HAS made it to live.
Smugglers are now having to pull each AUK, WUK and Clamp individually from their crates, when they did NOT have to before. This is, to say the least, quite an inconvenience. (We have always had to pull the laser knives individually in order to get the full 10 charges out of them, but that is another bug and another story.)
Having to manually pull these tools adds a lot of time to the process (especially for large orders) and it also causes inventory management issues (again, adding time to the process of slicing). Many of my fellow smugglers have more than doubled their prices because of this. Some claim they are no longer slicing.
I know that TH said "It's just a matter of time." I think many of us thought that this meant it would be fixed before the code wentlive. It appears we read more into this comment than we should have. That being said, when can we expect this bug to be fixed?
I know the smuggler community would really appreciate an answer to this question as soon as possible.

not sure if this is the right place to put this or if someone else posted this but the ticket collector can no longer be used while running. it now says "You cannot use this in your current state" what's worse is that you either have to hit stand or stay completely still for a sec or two before you can use it. I know that I can also just type the command in but sometimes it's just too much effort not to mention the slight thrill of catching a transport right before it takes off.

- Crafting Inventory option
Nice feature.
I figured out there is a bug, one attribute is never used to calculate the average value.
Potential Energy: select only this one, no average value is displayed for values with PE (food, ...)
Select OQ and PE: avg = OQ ... avg is not (OQ+PE)/2
Select anything (X) and PE: avg = X
I selected different combinations and there is definitely a bug with Potential Energy.
edit: I submited a /bug

The new feature that shows the average of selected stats doesnt seem to work. I have it set to show me the average of the OQ and PE, but it only shows the OQ.

I like the crafting change. they are a step in the right direction, but the fact that they equally weight all the stats selected is problematic and the fact that different items have different stat requirements is also problematic. why doesn't it look at the percentages listed in the currently selected schemitic to figure out which stats to count and how to weight them??? That would be infinitely more useful. As it stands, it's a marginally useful novelty.
But as I and others have already mentioned, the removal of drop shadows has made much of the game's onscreen text unreadable.
I also agree with others that the /findFriend command should be removed. A game with so much of its basis grounded in PVP simply should not have any form of non-consensual /findFriend command. Simply checking that the player you use the command on has you in their friend list is NOT a sufficient means of determining consent. Just because it is called a "friend list" doesn't mean everyone on it is a trusted friend. Crafters put business contacts in their friend list. This does not mean that they want their customers to have the ability to stalk them. Similarly, hard-core PVPers put their enemies in their friend list so they will know when their enemies are logged in. A new flag needs to be added to the friend list that specifies whether or not you want the friend in question to be able to /find you (and this would probably need to be stored server side). And this flag should default to "do not grant consent". Either that, or the command should be removed. Sorry, but it was a pretty stupid idea to put a command like that inthis gamein its current form.

Ability to turn off camera shake - handy
Names on players and NPC are absolutely wretched- hot fix needed immediately, not being able to see properly is madness
Oh, and another Master Smuggler here - threads for GUI, vendors, Jedi...but no proper place to put our grievance. We were told the auto-pull would be fixed, it isnt.

The consider mode is awesome. I haven't tried the crafting and the camera shake yet but it's all good.

Ive noticed this too.Dont know why this was changed, but dark purple seemed to workjust fine before.

The new colors on both my laptop and my nice 17" desktop monitor are so light that they're unreadable, especially against a bright background. All of my nicely color-coded and named storage backpacks are now useless because I can't see the names at all.
