Quick question~


Are there going to be an special going ons (from the devs, not players) on halloween?


I LOVE the holiday events other MMO's have.. and a dev can do it alot better due to the ability to add creatures and hunts that players can not mirror.


Not to say player event are not socaily satifactory.. but it is no where near the added content of dev events.


So please have holiday events at least.. Halloween is close and it is a grand time to throw in fun for all!

I ask because of the 900+ negative comments Holo got when he asked about that, I guess I want to be clear if you are still going ahead with that even with 95%+ negative feedback from your player base?

I myself have three furniture schematics that require 8 identical synth clothes which with this patch would limit runs of those to 11?!?! T21's require 10 identical power handlers, so runs of those are limited to 9?!!?

Any word on whether or not Image Designers can give people the bald hair style (the one from the starting selection) yet?
I would imagine that it was a mistake to leave that out of the initial ID capabilities and I've been wondering if it will be instittuted in this patch.

I know I have one character that started off bald... changed his hair style for fun... then decided to go back to being bald again, but no one has the ability to make him bald again... not even Master Image Designers. Eeek!

I have just assumed that this issue was well known among Image Designers and I've never personally brought this up before... but the notion just crossed my mind.
So here it is, and there it went.

What are the prereqs for politician????


Bantha, no great loss, those things are slow. Ronto...do you really want to see twenty of these in town?


Dewback-since cloning changes should be in at the same time, we BE's should be able to lower the cl on them for nonCH. Yay!


The picture was a krahbu not a gualama. I've been stepped on by gualamas frequently. I know what they look like. Might finally give a use to a useless creature. Though gualamas might make good mounts too.


Eopies were also seen as mounts in the movies. Though granted, not very exciting ones.

Yosho: in the stratics interview I believe the devs said that the politician would be a starting class that requires apprenticeship points to get novice.



I'm personally hoping it's NOT 15 point base. I hope it follows the pattern of an "upper onion" profession. (i.e. 6 point base, then 5,4,3,2 1 master politician).

If you can change hairstyles, you can make the customer bald. I've done it to myself and I just have the ID skills needed for Master Entertainer.

I have I.D. III and I cannot do it. I have asked two or three Master Image Designers as well as other Master Entertainers and none of them can (Or at least know how to).
It does not appear as an option in the choices of hairstyles... based on the order in character creation, it should be the first one available (from Left to right), but it is not there.
If you can do it... do you use some sort of trick?

apologies if this was addressed or not, but i choose to not go through 7 pages of posts... call it laziness but will mounts speed be similar to a burst run? or just slightly above running?

Worka different profession if you're bored. There's no need to add Skill Points. Drop some of the proffession skills you have and work a different one. The reason there are skill points is to prevent people from having Uber Characters who are Masters of all.


As for other posts in this thread:


I agree that if a creature is killed, it's killed for good.- PERMADEATH!- NO RESURRECTION! - Would stop the **edit** wars! I for one am sick and tired of people running around with immortalpets. Either that or let my faction pets be immortal also!


While you're at it, make it impossibleforpets to enterinto buildings!!! Especially if they are TOO BIG to fit in the room of the building!


Make droids more powerful or useful. If we're going to have **edit** wars, let's use droids instead of creatures. Some Creatures should be unpredictable and attack anyone, including the handlers.


There are other good points, like carbines should have more damage and be more accurate than other weapons from mounts or vehicles.


Hoping that the Entertainer Mission Terminals will get fixed to pay at least enough money to cover the traveling cost of the missions it sends you on.


Oh yeah, put the death back in that if you clone, you need to run out to your body to loot it to get your possessions back!!! We'd have people being a little more careful with their hunting and fighting if that were back in the game! Also have a lot less Clone Wars if that were in the game again!!!

some limitations i think should be implimented for Mounts: (and yes, i am a creature handler)



Firstand formost, executing special attacks or styles should not be allowedwhile sitting on your mount.Defaultcombat should be allowed however accuracy severly drops while the mount isin motion. Similarly,stimpacks should not work.


Second, Once acreature is trainedas a'mount' it is strictly a mount. Mountsshould not be able to learn the'group' command as well as'attack' command. However, a seperate attack commandshouldbeimplimented for only while you are mounted. You should not gain any ch experience from mounts, and you should not gain 'scouting' experience whilemaskscented/camoflagedwhilemounted.


Once a pet is trained as a mount, it should lose its general pet level rating, and can be owned by anyone (non ch). You should not be allowed to enter a metro-city areas while seated on your pet. You should have to dismount and store the pet before proceeding inside city limits.


I strongly feel Mounts should be used for personal transportation only. Anyone who wants to healthshot, eyeshot, or flame cone mobs while sitting on your mount are ultra lazy and probably use surveying/crafting macros for aritisan xp.

Concerning Player Cities:


Maybe or probably even this question has been asked before in this thread but if it has - it hasn't been answered as I closely follow the Dec Tracker daily .


Anyway - here it is:


What planets can player cities be built on?


Our guild is favoring an advancedplanet, but rumors have it, that only the starting planets (Tatooine, Naboo, Corellia, Rori and Talus) can be settled on and that Dantooine and Lok will be closed for cities/houses, just as Endor, Dathomir and Yavin4 already are.


Could we get an official answer please?
