Okay, did you read everything that he wrote? He clearly said in like 2 or 3 paragraphs that they want to test it in the "sandbox" to make sure they get everything right. If they put the CB out right now, and there is some exploit or bug, then you guys will be complaining about that. I can't believe I am stickin up for the devs, but they are just trying to get everything right before they have it go live.

Yes I did. You do realize that the Dev's promised the Combat Rebalance back around the Feburary/March timeframe and then switched up suddenly because the Jedi Revamp became more important. This was a big mistake and upset alot of the player base.

The Combat Rebalance is needed way more than the Jedi Revamp but do to other issues surrounding Jedi and this game they where given priority.

Here is my one question for TH... HAVE YOU EVEN SEEN A CARBINE? I wouldn't think so with the comments made in this post. I can name 5 differant high lvl mobs that we can't dent because of out vast selection of two and a half damage types. I say two and a half because the heat gun is broken. We get acid (twice) and Energy (5 times! inclding cdef) If only I were able to throw rocks at Nightsister I might be able to knick thier armor. As for the answer about how our current guns will change for the revamp: Unless the EE3 turns into a gun that shoots flaming jawas at 2.0 speed, it won't be good enough for me. How can you even face a Carbineer these days? Were almost apologetic when entering a group. We have to warn people that we may incap without even being hit if we decide to use to many specials at once. When someone says "Hey, wanna go kill some nightsisters? I have to say "Sorry my pistol skills aren't good enough" I feel like the Carbine profession had a rectal obstruction since the begining. We kept on going to the Doc/Dev and asking for it to be removed or at least adjusted so that we aren't always bedingover when fighting. The docs always assured us "all will be well soon, patch 7 maybe, or the combat revamp." We were fools and believed you. Instead you took your big boot and gave the obstruction a swift kick.

Please understand, I don't want to be Uber. I want to be able to choose a profession that I LIKE and be able to compete, even if we are the weekest, just to compete! PLEASE HELP!

One question / suggestion TH .

The idea of the different certs for the mandalorian armor is good as long as its a profit for the master of these profs not novice so that every dabbler could use it . i guess most people who take these prof seriously and master them would prefer that and most people might prefer not seeing everyone dabbling novice of these just to get the armor cert .

You can experiment them up to 48m range, which will go 96m in the hands of a master CM. This will require putting all or most of your experimentation in the ADM and the final combine, into range.

I can't say that I ever use these, since I get about 80m on the packs I experiment for effectiveness. But the best way to test this is to have you and your target 96m apart, standing still for at least a few seconds (to avoid any deception caused by lag), and then see if you can hit him.

Yeah, I verified this tonight. The ones I made were only good for about 80m too, but that's 16m too far. I even used a regular poison instead of an area.

The range needs to be fixed... again...

Also, shouldn't the issue really be something like, "Combat Medics have no reduction in damage in PvP?"

The correspondents are helping me verify the details now....

I would say it's because the Devs have already answered that question (and that was also a quetsion by the CM Corre and since the CMs don't generally agree that damage is the issue, although there are other issues which make it SEEM like damage is the issue, I wouldn not expect to see that question from him. Maybe if it were a GCW question, but not a CM question.

Actually I think he may have quoted me oddly. The "can anyone verify?" was actually about the issue above that wasn't quoted. The CM range issue. I thought it might look like we throw beyond 64m because of the area of effect, but I verified tonight that we indeed can experiment and throw beyond 64m. I threw one on a Crazed Durni at 80m not 5 minutes ago.

These answers suck. TH your replys are the equivilant of walking up to a man in the street, asking him "Can you tell me how to get to Main Street?" and the man saying "Yes!" and walking away without giving the directions. How about the directions bud? How about some specifics? This is lame. We all know things will change with the Blessed Combat Revamp. HOW? WHAT? examples! Answer the damn questions!

Sheesh..

There is one thing that is ruining this game and need to be revamped not prfessions... And this thing is named buffs.

Why?

Cause me (and many other ppl) can do for example this SOLO:

- clean whole Geo cave
- clean whole NS stronghold
- kill rancor lair in 2 minutes
- kill 10 pickets in 20s
- face almost every monster in game
and all this mean u can earnl loads of money in several hours of playing

Imagine situation withou buffs or not so strong buffs.

U have to group with other ppl and cooperate. So every (combat) profession could be more usefull and funny to do without grind. U have to choose which armor u can use = u can be usefull as low level armorsmith = u have chance to sell yours goods (so craft professions could be more usefull). U have to use more tactics and choose which special attacks u can use in combat.

So don't waste your time and buy composite, best weapon with hightest damage and get yours buff for 15k (or for free if u are MDOC) and be SUPERHERO for hours.... (((

Devs

Your ideas for the smuggler revamp are utter crap. You are showing your lack of concern for the players. The fact is, you don't have your fingers on the pulse of this community. in fact, I think you have them shoved up your ears because you sure as heck don't listen. Or maybe they are in your mouths, because you sure as heck don't talk to the smugglers on their forum. Every time I've gotten dev-given info about the smuggler profession, it's been OUTSIDE of the smuggler forum.

You're totally giving the smuggler profession a pile of bantha poodoo. This is why I'm not playing, and why you lost my 15 bucks a month. Why do not care?

Excuse me, but this is what makes the game fun, trying to be the best at what you try and try to get the best equipment possible. Nerfing buffs is not an option. You go ahead and be killed by a butterfly or a durni, but I'd rather not!

And you should also realise that alot of the high end content is meant to be done WITH buffs. If you don't believe this, I kindly invite you to go with your group of 10 to the corvette unbuffed and with your 'preferred' armor (not composite as that is too heavy), and we'll see how long your group lasts

And high level content should not be done by armorsmiths or whatever crafters. There is such a thing as combat characters for that.

EXCELLENT TH ,

good idea and good stuff here , even if i think the dot of the CM must be drop down ( 600 damage in the mind every 5 sec is stupid, and kill pvp, my only question will be : did the mandalorian armor can be wear by novice or master ? i hope master would be better cause it s to easy to just be novice ranger or squad leader and rifleman or pistoler and TKA or fencer.

thanks

[quote]Certs for Mandalorian armor will be: Bounty Hunter, Commando, Ranger and Squad Leader [quote]

WHAT?!? it's a joke?

have you seen the movie? do you know expand universe?

mandalorian armor must be for BH only, else, in 1 month, we can see mandalorian everywhere...

i'm commando, and i prefere not seeing all other commando wearing this famous armor...

only mCH have rancor, and it's more immersive if only mBH have mandalorian armor.

if someone want to create droid, he must become DE

if someone want tame rancor, he must become CH

if someone want wear wookie armor, he must become wookie

if someone want wear mandalorian armor, HE MUST BECOME MASTER BH

if a rebel want wear imperial armor : an error message says : you must be imperial over and declared...

it's may be the even thing with armor mandalorian: you must be master CH

i don't want seeing TKA/commando (the ubber proffession) with this FAMOUS armor, it's not immersive !!!

i'm a FAN of starwars and when i see this announce, i don't believe IT !!! i'm very disapointed

mandalorian armor is very uncommon, in theExtend Universeonly boba fett have this ancient armor, and i congratulate SWG who make this ancient uncommun armor, a new fashion armor ..... ( very very immersive )

notice : and a special congratulation for certif of ranger and squad leader, it's a good way to render more attractive this proffession... it's really whatsoever
