BROKEN FROM DAY 1: Stomach not emptying on death - this is a very fustrating problem that still remains
I agree last night I was laggin in Mos Eisley on Eclipse for the first time since upgrading to 1 gig also. It was so bad that my mouse was barely moving, i changed batteries in it and still the same. After I flew to Ft Krayt and returned it was a bit better, but my ping was stuck at 900. However my bandwidth in was averaging 2.0 for about a 5 minute period while standing at the shuttle.
I rebooted and the lag was a bit less but still noticeable. I didn't leave Tat last night so not sure how Coronet or Theed was doing, but Mos Eisley near the Shuttleport was kind of bad last night
- Upgrades to vehicles
- Abilities to add on vehicle upgrades to already crafted vehicles
- More Vehicles for variety
- More speeds than STOP, GO SLOW, and GO REAL FAST (but not as fast as a jedi running)

Nah, patch 9.2.1.

Perhaps then they should be removed from the release notes? And the fix implemented should be patch 9.3, correct?

Well, you see, that analysis requires a degree of critical thinking that is sorely lacking right now. If you actually parse Blackman's statement, it's true...people who are happy with everything are just playing. Nothing false about it at all.
If you can't see that there is a difference between soliciting feedback for newly launched features and the type of polling involved with concluding that the bulk of players want JTL...well, then you're being stubborn.
Now I'll sit here and brace for 1 star.
The primary fault here, is that Blackman (and you) are assuming that every player in SWG actively reads and post on the forums.

I dont mean to go off on you, and this isnt directed all towards you. Its just frustrating dealing with the powers that be in this game...
Located in Commercial Guild Halls located in static cities now have NPC contractors that can give out new crafting missions. There are mission difficulties of easy, challenging and difficult depending the skill boxes a player possesses. The rewards granted are some credits and a small experience point bonus associated with crafting the item. The goal of the implementation of the "Crafting Quests" is to provide our wide variety of crafting professions the chance to use/sell their otherwise obsolete items and wares, creating a market for novice and intermediate crafters in a market of masters."
I've gone and done 2 different crafting jobs, and they are really not worth the time and effort.
Job #1: The first was an "easy" job, and I was asked to make 8 droid motive systems. My first thought was, "Well, that's a quite a few for an easy job, but what the heck." I happened to have a factory crate of them with me so I pulled out 8, put them in the job's crate, and gave it to the contractor. The result - 120 credits, no XP bonus. Even with already having the parts made in a crate, I felt a little cheated. I could have sold the parts for more than that individually, or at least used them in fully crated droids.
Job #2: This was a "difficult" job. Create 5 Geeky Droid Personality chips. Alright, much more reasonable than the difficult one I had just turned down (which was create 8 R3 Droids, Advanced Model! HUGE WASTE!). Being a difficult job, chances are you're going to have to do some searching for specific components, which I did - I needed to go get a couple of crates of Electronic Memory Modules and Electronic GP modules (made even more expensive since I have to contract out to have them made, since I no longer have Master Artisan). PLUS, figure in the shuttle fees, approx 500 creds. I made all the personality chips, and put them in the crate. I'd say it took me about 20 minutes solid of playtime to finish this. My "reward"? 175 CREDITS and 15 DROID CRAFTING XP. That was a HUGE waste of time and effort. Consider how much bigger my frustration would have been had I gone and made all eight of those R3 droids!
So, 2 jobs, and mostly dissatisfaction with the system. Here are the problems:
1. The payout is too low. I understand, we don't want to let this be a replacement for players selling to players, but it needs to be at least worth the amount of resources and time it takes to put into the items! All "difficult" jobs should at least have the cost of travel considered. Would you take a job to make something in real life if your customer said you needed to get all the materials yourself, then build it for them, and then he'll only pay you less than the amount the resources themselves are worth? I don't think so! ![]()
2. The XP bonus is too low. This should be a viable alternative, and probably a MUCH more attractive alternative to grinding out parts in practive mode. It should encourage people to craft all sorts of different items for a profession so they get to learn the parts. As currently implemented, the XP bonus would be better if you just grined out the a bunch of parts in practice mode! The XP bonus needs to be at LEAST (but probably more like double!) what the practice mode bonus is.
3. The current system does not "provide our wide variety of crafting professions the chance to use/sell their otherwise obsolete items and wares, creating a market for novice and intermediate crafters in a market of masters." Because the NPC randomly generates the components he's asking for, and because of items #1 and #2, a crafter would be better off spending their time deleting their obsolete items and focusing on other projects.
Overall I think this is a GREAT idea and could, if implemented with greater rewards, discourage players from grinding through a profession - and hopefully let us just get rid of "practice mode" crafting entirely. The rewards need to be better than are currently available, and it SHOULD be possible for a player to make a living off of these NPC contracting jobs, but a very meager one. The jobs MUST at least take into consideration the cost involved, at least in possible travel and the resources used - if it is currently based on complexity/difficulty level of an item, then the whole complexity scale needs to be re-evaluated.
I hope this post is clear and productive! For the time being, I can't recommened to other players that they should even attempt to try these crafting contractors. It's just not worth the time and effort. And I'm curious too really - what sort of feedback did Test Center give you guys on this? I can't see how it would have been considered acceptable! In it's current state it's just sort of a useless system that could be much better and more useful. Thanks.

I have been playing with no problems since day 1 on this hardware, no drivers, etc changed, only today's patch.
Three times now, I have crashed with the following blue screen (complete BSOD).
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
File that caused it: NV4_DISP.DLL
I have a 64 mb NVIDIA GeForce 4200 and 1 gig of system RAM.
Winxp Home.
This happened once while loading after a shuttle, once while crafting and once while just running.
I had the same problem, But it was per patch by one day. I just downloaded new (Atleast I think it was new....probably the same drivers)drivers from NVidia....no problem sense then.
