Well the lamps themselves is kind of tricky. A "glow" spot has to be added and an ambient light source and it takes a lot of involvement.

I'm not sure what I'm missing here ... we already have ambient light sources with torches that work just fine ... the problem is that people find them very un-Star-Warsy for the interior of a house. All they're asking for is that a lamp with on/off properties work like a torch when its placed or removed. Doesn't seem to require any new coding for the actual light properties of the house interior beyond what torches do today.

So, what's the difference between on/off lamps as interior light sources and torches as interior light sources, from a coding perspective, that makes this 'tricky' ?

TH you ever tried to find something on vendors and after 15 empty vendors decided to throw your computer thru the window ?

how about about the vendors auto remove from planetary map when empty.

The crafter can always put it back on map when he refills it.

TH:

your solution to the lack of a city chat would be fine IF player created chat channels persisted.

Right now, someone has to set it up every day.

And you have to manually join, which is something I often forget to do (which is a bad thing to forget, since I'm on the City Council. Oops.)

It would be nice if it was a chat tab like Guild Chat that was always there for you. If you join a city, you join that city's chat, just like when you join a guild.

You appear to have missed my request for some further investigation into brining back the MINING Profession, (top of page 5 of this thread) Either that or you are choosing not to provide any feedback.

Please can you at least acknowledge the question and give some indication as to whether some further investigation into this lost profession would be possible.

Frommy perspective, the loss of the MINING & MANUFACTURINGprofessions is the single biggest flaw in the SWG crafting process.

Yer kidding me? With all these great posts about actual bugs and issues, TH is talking about a dimmer switch in my house?????

Just say it TH.. You have no power with the developers. You are thier pawn. They tell you what they are going to do, and you coat it with sugar and try to get us to swallow it.

Nice. I'm taking my money elsewhere. Thanks for your time.

As and active duty military member I find the 3 week thing disturbing. If I go for a class, or deployed for a month, my city will be destroyed. This will have me simply delete my account, and have Army Air Force Exchange (AAFES) not carry your product. This could equally apply to folks who take vacations, etc... or have family emergencies, like myself this past month. Just a bad idea, simply from a business perspective.. not to mention with what's going on.. this is suppose to be stress relief... you go out to put your ass on the line, you come home from that place, you don't want your game deleted.. that's just wrong..

Soon. Its high on the list- - I think maybe we'll be able to get "up and "down" at least added to publish 7. The schedule is still firming up but it looks pretty good.

In the meantime, here is a macro that I set up that makes a lot of things really easy...

I'll just point out for those confused by this: the macroing TH describes will not help you move items up and down. There still exists no way of doing that if you don't have stairs in your house that you can exploit.

Well the lamps themselves is kind of tricky. A "glow" spot has to be added and an ambient light source and it takes a lot of involvement. WhatI were able to do was focus on "ambient lighting" in general. What Im hoping will happen is we'll get a switch on our main housing control panel and it will have "bright, medium and dim" or something similar and the lighting levels through out the house will be effected

Th this may not be helpful but why does this game have the same theme - The lamps dont work - The x is still broke - The Y has never worked - These systems/objects have been here LIVE for 6 months and still we get no fixes - I hate to be negative by WHY?

Can we get a Schematic for Tailors to be able to craft the Metal Bikini Skirt? If your not sure what one im talking about, It's the one that Leia was wearing in Jabbas palace. The Tailors can alraidy craft the top of the Bikini, but not the bottom skirt.

I would kill to get this Schematic!

So where's the summary of the take-away information from the ID#3?

You've got DEs tearing at eachother and mass hysteria going on, and it's now two days after you said you'd post your findings.

Thow us at least a prelim bone and tell us if any of the information has actually sunk in, or if you still think that "L337 K0MBAT DR01DZ" are the universal panacea with regards to droids in SWG.

It sounds to me like the crackdown is crap for imps. And as far as everyone who wanted to be a jedi getting "compensated" I say no, you know it changes here every week. You're not special, at least not anymore. Soon there will be dozens and then hundreds like you and all that grinding to get into a special fraternity of uniqueness that isn't that unique anymore will fade away to frustration over disappearing speeders or bazaar items that are paid for and never received. Maybe if all that stuff got fixed first and we quit pandering to the "sacred" jedi there would be a lot more time to make the jedi profession right. I say deal with the problems in the game that have been here before ya go friggin with the **edit** jedi crap, it will wait and they will still grind day in and day out till ya get to them.

The radial menu is sometimes too small.

For example, as a master doctor, you group with an entertainer. He starts playing music or dance. You open his radial menu, and you cant see "listen" or "watch". There's only :

- Start Tading

- Del

- Eamine

- Leave Group

- Follow

- Teach

- Heal Damage

- Heal Enhance

and no room for /listen /watch
