I'm guessing since you're looking at master scouts being the ones able to harvest the rare creature loots and that harvesting larger quantities of resources isn't fictionally justifiable, that the dev team is looking at rangers being the elite soldiers and a sensible compliment to a combat profession rather than being the master hunters. Is that a fair assumption based on these statements? Can we expect to see the ranger profession as the elite warriors they are in the Star Wars Universe? And cool ideas on the loot, too

The only thing that gives me pause is the idea of "perishable loot." Would this apply to all loot, or just certain kinds? If I managed to get the Han Solo picture, it would be very annoying to have it disappear later on.

It's all very nice, but i have to complain: What The HelliS this HAN SOLO PAINTING??? I mean Han solo is just a smuggler in the galaxy. Well he is talented and famous among smuggler community. But it's not intergalactic worshiping! I can see rebels praising to Han Solo portrait... please no famous sw peeps.

Even portraits of Darth Vader is "out-of-this-world". Dunno i dont think famous persons portraits is starwarsy.

- I support The Emperor and Darth Vader in all their dealings. - You can too!

Strike me down with it. Give in to your anger. With each passing moment you make yourself more my servant.

I like the custom weapon modding, that sounds like a very good way to personalize your equipment, how about someenhancements that change the damage type 2.

In seriouisness, I hope the profession template designers will be IN CONTACT with the loot revamp team...considering the number of broken skill tape modifiers that are in game 18 months after launch (that's just embarassing). Make sure the mods you add will work, please be clear when/if there is a cap (not just the +25, but if I'm master tka, is unarmed damage going to help, if I'm trandoshan and it does help, should I try for just +15 or +25 still?, etc, etc, etc). Some great ideas though.

You do need to adress the storage issue. More items are introduced, even consumable ones, but also ones that require 10 parts to make one item. Housing inventory limits are very low considering the average gamer's needs. The resource stack size issue has been flatly rejected (increasing size to 1 mil). Can you tell us why? Is it purely a database storage issue? Is it that you don't want players hoarding stuff that they never sort through and delete?

it has been mentioned a couple of times, but I think this would be the ideal opportunity to look at the /forage loot tables again.

Currently foraged food is realy only useful as petfood or inital bait for fishing.

I don't mean to whine (well, maybe I do), but take a look at this:
1. Skill buffs
  • Carbine accuracy

  • Pistol accuracy
  • Pistol speed
  • Polearm accuracy
  • Polearm speed
  • Rifle accuracy
  • Rifle speed
  • Two hand melee accuracy

  • Unarmed accuracy

No Commando love. I mean, we know that the heavy mods don't work, but how about some thrown weapon accuracy at least?

Sorry if this has been raised already but if Heavy Weapon skill buffs are going to be implemented will that in turn make the Heavy Weapon speed/acc AA's and CA's work too??

I need to know if i should delete my +7 Heavy weapon speed AA

While I am excited to see the variety and usefullness of loot increase, quite a bit I might add, I am perplexed by the steady stream of new decorations. Lamps, paintings, rewards, and now loot have all been made more and more collectable, but the space we are given to collect them in has remained at the "temporarily" lowered levels, even decreased as vendors have undergone new limiations.

Is there a change in sight for the larger house's caps? Now that guild halls have been reduced in lots, and nearly all loot has been made collectable, will we see a return to an un governed capacity-by-lots system? Or even an increase in the capacity caps for larger structures?

I fear that until my 3-floor, 7 lot guild hall can hold more than a two floor house with 2/3rds its footprint, these new and highly desireable items will remain in my bank.

If you don't want me to "play the forums," then I suggest you make time playing the game more rewarding and less repetitive than "playing" here!

Cool stuff. Speaking for myself, I'd love to see a set of posters detailing the "Heimlich manuevar" for various species. People can choke on food in Star Wars.....

I do hope you consider raising the item caps in houses, with all these new items to display.

I've been bouncing around an idea for loot or possibly loot kit items. Small models of TIE fighters, X-wings and what not. These would be similar in size to the stuffed bantha statue. I'm sure a lot of people would want to collect all of the ship models available.
