ok so here is my delimma.......from what i understand your slight sense....surge...and glow is based off 2 things....how many professions and how many of the 8 total badges required to get ur glow u have..........so my question is....i had 1 of the jedi location badges of 3 needed....and 1 of the "content badges" needed....13 total professions ground out....7 of the professions were done after my holo was silent........when i did /check i was surging......so it is fair to say i most likely did at least 1 of the 4 silent professions needed (persay if i was in the 8 holo 4 req qnd 4 silent ppl..) but i have played for over 10 monthes....anyways...i now am glowwing......being that i was surging with minimal badges how sson am i to look for this old man...hours...days ....weeks?......some type of feedback would be nice...im not asking for a definite time frame but to gods at least let us know when each group will get its turn and how long those turns will last
TH this is directed towards u pls answer this to the best of ur ability......u have given some ample information but not when each grp will get its turn....this will answer alot of questions....and again i am not askin what grp im in...just when each grp will get its turn....and if u have no definite answewr then at least an estimate on time frames.....pls

The Old Man appeared on TC2 and Gorath while I was running (not riding a bike). I used the overview with Ctrl-M. Suddenly a small white triangle appeard behind me, trying to catch up. I stopped running and it was the old man.... you may have to run around....

I've run. I've stood still. I've sat down. I've lied down. I've fought. I've ridden my bike. I've run in circles around shrines. I've used player shuttle ports dozens of times. I've gone up mountains. I swam down rivers. Nothing. Nothing. NOTHING. That's been my reward. Great job SOE.

How could they have lied, when they NEVER EVEN SAID that it took 5 professions? They have ALWAYS kept a tight lip about the unlocking mechanism, and have NEVER made statements that it took 5 professions.
If they NEVER told you it took 5 professions, then they didn't lie. All the people who say they lied are dumb kids who are incapable of rational thought.

Oh please. The people who spent half a year grinding 32 professions are NOT going to quit over waiting for a day. None of them.
Only a total idiot would play the game for six months, clicking that mouse over a million times, hours upon hours EVERY day, ... and then quit. A total idiot.

But in all seriousness, The Devs need to have more communication with us. I am fine waiting longer to grind (I don't enjoy it any more then the rest of you), but if we could get some estimate on how long the groups need to wait, that would be great.

I dont feel like I'm being adequately rewarded for those professions I did grind. I think for those people that did not complete x of the random professions required but still mastered a number of professions should still be rewarded for the time they put in.
For instance, it is possible that you master 20 professions but did not master the correct "required" professions if you see what i mean.
I feel like i'm getting ripped off.

Instead of sitting around in the wilderness at a camp, why don't you do something radical and different, ... like actually PLAY the game?

you feel like youre getting ripped off!?! i unlocked days after pub 10 and was told my force sensitive abilities would be given with pub 10..now all of us post 9 unlockers are sitting in the forest twidling our thumbs.....and yet somehow you feel cheated...bah
