I understand trying to help the economy, but i fail to see how making it so low CL pets get horrifically bad (nowhere near their wild companions), mid level CL pets get worse, and high CL pets might stay the same, is a good thing. Especially since there has YET to be ANY skillmod enhancers for BEs of any sort.
That bad cess out of my system, I'm also very unimpressed with the Droid Evasion itself. Having my already 'nerfed' probot take a significant nosedive yet again in stats was a bit offputting. Fortunately, he was nigh useless before, so the fact that he's totally useless now beyond his crafting station isn't too much of a blow. There's just something about going from 830 ham, 40% resist all, medium armor, to 830 ham, 18% resist all, no armor at all, that makes my teeth grind.
I'm also disturbed as all getout about the rumors I'm hearing about jedi-killing death squads. Apparently, bounty hunters can form a group. Their groupmates get a tef on the jedi. They can attack him after he re-clones. The BH doesn't lose the mission if the Jedi dies from 3xincap, so can repeat this indefinitely. And there's apparently one or more professions or special moves that can actually deathblow Jedi without ending the mission, if tales can be believed (though none are the BH themselves, it's not hard to imagine the less scrupulous getting a group together for this, since they DO get the cash and investigation xp if it still matters). It seems it's been made easier to hunt Jedi (which is fine) but none of the grief tactics have been addressed (even with GCW issue explanation on the 'why I take Decay in PvP' 3xIncap issue was writ large.
Two thumbs down for the overall patch. Very glad the devs decided to pull the experimentation changes on crafting, pleasantly surprised even. But the rest of it so far is fairly rocky.
When DB'd in a duel you now lose insurance and item decay occurs.
Is this intended? Why wasn't this in the notes?
What about factional pvp? Has decay returned for that?
Please do something about these forum colors.
My eyes can't take it man. ..

On BE pets, the damage range, to hit, and attack speed stats are not displayed. Babies tamed from the wild have all stats displayed correctly.
Thank goodness - I thought they not only nerfed the ham on my pets but reducethem to no damage.
Why BE pets at all? - CH and non-CH pets get nerfed when called - bio-engineering is supposed to be an IMPROVEMENT over nature -instead it's a way to practice crafting and waste resources.
*LOL*, maybethe devs can change the profession name to be more in keeping with what they understand bio-engineer to mean.
Well I just read this entire thread... Wow.
I have 4 accounts on this game, 1 uber PvP and 3 master crafters to support him. Here arethe ups and downs of the publish for me personally.
I LOVE the new 'no camp needed' deal, Pulling out speeders is much better now.
I don't like the new crafting changes (I have 100 harvs so I have good stuff too) just not fair to little crafters.
/move up doestn't work
I really wanted to redecorate my city.
Cant wait for to get some of the new lamps and candles made ![]()
Why Nerf WarCry? Nerf stun on jawa ions we MRM don't need it that bad.
Where are the droids? I see them comming in publish 8, read the notes.
Nothing major in this publish, no big deal. It's just the first one that wasn't Epic in proportion. Im happy enough with it. The crafting changes would've had me canceling accounts but you listened on that one and they're gone.
All in all, im not wowed, but im not let down either.
My one suggestion... Forget about us freaks with the multiple accounts... cater to the average player. We uber players will make do.

TH/Devs,
Please relate to us where do we find the droids in the wallpaper released for this publish.
Granted we wont have the background bots as pets, but are they even in the game?
They are NPCs in the Corellian Corvette.
So, let me get this straight:
The droids on the wallpaper are not actually part of this "droid invasion" at all, is what you're saying.
They're part of a dungeon that has not yet gone live (thus not part of this publish).
Do you see the problem here?
A great many of us players do not pay to beta test the game and therefore have not logged into the Test Center to see exactly what changes are being made, nor do we pay a great deal of attention to Test Center patch notes as they can and likely will be altered/changed when they hit live.
After the "Imperial Crackdown" and this "Droid Invasion" I gotta say I'm not having any faith in this highly anticipated "Combat Rebalance" that's coming up. You guys need to get better at this. Better communication, better changes, better advertising of said changes. You should have named this patch "Doc Enhance Balance" as that is pretty much the only good big thing to come from it.

BH/Jedi tracking...
Now this in itself is not a problem. Actually it gives good gameplay. Evan tho I am a jedi and will be on the receiving end of the attacks. Now I know this all looks good on paper. But many times greifing is not part of game play. And taken out of the game. Well you just gave every BH/His entire guild a tool to greif Jedi. BH takes misssion grps with 10 of his closest freinds. Finds target and encapps him. But now here is the problem. The BH does not give a db. So the poor jedi just lays there. After said BH leisurely rides over to the clone station, he has his best friend finally DB the jedi. Well mission is still intact. So after said jedi respawns at said Clone station. He is killed again. Now that him the jedi and all his closest friends are at the same cloning station. They can and do repeat this over and over again. Now this might be good game play if the jedi stood some chance of escape. But he doesnt. Or if the said Jedi evan stood a chance against fighting the said MBH alone whice he does not. But what what is he suppose to do againt a whole squad againt just him?
Droid Invasion...
Well I have a friend that worked his way up the DE tree in hopes of the changes coming. Well after the patch he quickly went to work on the new toys that he can make. Than brought them out. And let a few of us play with them. After all was said and done. We all just laughed. In theory there were some good ideas. But who wants to use a Cl 10 droid. WHat good is that. Except some new player who is lvling in durni or any other extremely low lvl mob in the game. If the droids cant at least fight and deal out fair amount of dmg. At least give them a decent amount of HAM and defenses to live more then 5 seconds. I almost killed the one that I was fighting with my main toon. And the funny thing is I almost beat him. Oh ya I am a Master Architect. Part time doctor some time scout. No combat skills at all..
Ya they are neat and all. But if you stroll thru any server today. How many mounts do you actually see in use? I saw the new ones yesterday. And they looked like you did a good job on them. But who will use them WHen for a few credits more you will just get a flasy new sport Swoop..
Junk Dealer...
Hmm Went to him and solf a few things. 50 credits. It cost me more in shuttle fees to get there.
Nice addition!!!
Well I am a Master Architect. And nice job. I made all the new items. And placed them around mu house and had some friends come over to check them out. And they were all enjoying them. Few questions tho.
1. No dimmer controls
2.Moving items around the house seems to work pretty good. But still had problems. I could not seem to get move forward back or rotate to work any more. Would.nt it be a good idea. Just to put these commands in the options menu under your toolbar. And let us just add the values that we wanted?
From what i saw yesterday, The changes were all for the better. I know bigger changes are coming in the next publish. And I sit and wait for them. Some key issues need to be addressed in the next publish to make the game play a lot more fun.
1. Clone camping is a major turnoff in PVP for me and a lot of people that I know. When you are killed in PVP set a timer on said player. SAid player can gather his senses and prepare for battle again. And takes out the annoying aspect og the game.
2. Item decay in PVP. well it is still here. I lost a while set of BE clothes due to this. Guild came in a timely manner. But still took time to come and rescue me.
3. Combat medics. Why would this one class be the deciding factor in PVP. I was a COmbat medic in the service. And we had no offfensive abilities. Why does SWG feel that they should here? Why do they not get the 75% reduction in PVP that all other classses do? Why are they allowed to make poisons and desease that tick for over 700 every 5 seconds?
I know I went off the topic og this thread just a bit. But I do really like this game. Andwant to be here for the long haul. But at times it gets hard. I know ill be here with both my accounts till the space expansion. And so will many other players. I really jope this is play tested over and over. Till no bugs exist. Will this ever be going to Tesst center for testing? I really hope that I alot of thought is going into getting it right. And player tested. By the masses. I am sure that you see that everypatch brings good and bad. And untill it goes live. The bugs will never all truely be found out.
Suggestion: Stop Themed Publishes.
When the Imperial Crackdown was released, there was genuine concern on the part of the players that some form of risk would be introduced into the game. There was a perception that the developers had erred, and that the Imperials would get unfair advantage. Now, of course, as I am sure you are aware, the Imperial Crackdown is now known as the "Imperial Letdown" or the "Imperial Crackheads."
It is widely apparent that the only result of this "Crackdown" is providing a free Faction Point environment for Rebels. It is literally an all-you-can-eat feast of gain with virtually no risk for the Rebels. Instead of being perceived as Imperial strength, the publish is considered to be a rebel buff (to go along with rebel buffage in the Cries of Alderaan storyline).
Now we have the "Droid Invasion", which is now widely considered as the "Droid Implosion" or the "Droid Evasion." Simply put, the developers did not deliver a January publish which featured droids, skipped the issue on February and then put in what is considered by most as the most hilariously and painful form of misrepresentation in a long, long time (I have compared this publish to Battlecruiser 3000 AD, and Derek Smart). Simply put, the publish is FANTASTIC for everyone except the Droid Engineers to whom this publish was dedicated. Instead of presenting new functionality, the only way DEs are noted for now is the giant nerf to their droids in the armor department.
I urge the developers stop this "themed publish" idea. It is presenting more shattered dreams and failed hopes than you can imagine. People are now fully prepared to mock the next "themed publish" sight unseen, and any careful marketing of it will be met with resistance and skepticism.
Finally, I would like an explanation of how the development staff sees themselves in these situations. You have had two themed publishes, and both are now known for a failure that seemed obvious to the players within minutes of release that the developers had obviously missed in their design. An example here is the granting of FP for the stormtroopers in cities, which spawn rapidly, and the nerf of armor to eliminate any desire for combat droids before the market even begins.
To sum up, this publish has been fantastic for my style of play. Lighting sources and "up/down" have been major issues for me since launch. If armoires and bookshelves and toolchests could be used as storage, then my "June 27th" issues in housing will finally have been solved. However, you will note I have mentioned nothing of any droids. I am a Droid Engineer. I have not yet bothered to craft a droid since the publish. The disappointment in the new scheme is too acute.

FIX DANT LAGG ON GORRATH!!!!!!!
Yeah, what he said. The server-side latency while on Dantooine in the Gorath galaxy is extremely high when compared to the other planets. This problem seems to be as old as Publish 6. I have noticed it, and so have a lot of my friends. Please take a look at this, Thunderheart. Thanks.
