This isn't exactly a typo, but I believe comes under this heading.

Wookiees can't learn to speak any other languages, but they are all listed as choices we can teach them under /teach. We have to scroll past all the unlearnable languages to get to the things we can actually teach them. If they can't learn it, it should not in the list.

The commando titles.

I'm not sure if I would call it a bug... well maybe since the line that's called grenadeer isn't the line that uses grenades. And the heavy acid rifle line is called ordnance manufacturer... huh?

Easily accomplished if they incorporate it as an escapable character using a backslash...something like \;

They also could say that two semicolons in a row equals one printed semicolon. Kind of like the apostrophe in SQL. You have to use two apostrophes in SQL to denote the printed apostrophe and not the beginning or end of a string.

This is a small one but when you are argo'd, the purple box appears that shows what actions you take. The bottom of it says 'XXX_something'. This is not the exact phrase but the tripple 'X' is there and another word. I think it is supposed to list who argo'd you. Having this fixed would be helpful for when I am driving my hoopty and get argo'd, then I can decide if I need to stop and take them out or keep on truck'n.

it's 'XXX_enemy' and I think it's just cuz you're out of range, but yes it is annoying

To be precise I believe it is 'xxEnemyNamexx' and I've had this happen while even in range.

This is really getting detailed I know, but the lair type "a dead log" should just be "a log". There is no such thing as a living log. If it was alive, it would be called "tree".

Strange as it may seem, there ARE such things as living logs.Things cut off from a treekeep on growing untilthe water insideis used up. Big logs won't survive very long. The smaller ones can stay alive longer depending on the circumstances. When covered with soil a cut off branch can even grow into a shrub or tree. When put in water lots of branches and twigs even stay alive long enough to bloom, grow leaves or grow roots.

Oddly enough, you are right about "a dead log" being wrong because those dead logs actually look like a dead treetrunk to me.

Carbineer needs to be spelled Carbineer.

Variables like %TT generally do not work in groupchat (where they would be most useful)

not very speciffic, I'm sorry, but I have noticed that some creatures in the combat logs when they dodge you attacks it reads, " you shoot at a rancor but him dodges it." this may be found in other types of defesive moves like block too etc.

My pet peeves are grammar and spelling errors in loading screens. I haven't read through the whole thread, so my apologies if someone has already raised these.

1. Loading screen for Tatooine, describing the Lucky Despot, includes this misplaced modifier: "Too large to salvage, Lady Valarian ... ". The author was trying to say that the Lucky Despot was too large to salvage. Instead, the author ended up describing Lady Valarian as "too large to salvage." She could stand to lose a couple pounds, but I wouldn't go that far.

2. Another Tatooine loading screen: "Huge beasts with curving horns, the bantha is...". Ouch. In this sentence, the author should choose singular or plural and stick with it.

3. Anchorhead loading screen: "sympathetic to the Rebel's cause". Shouldn't it read rebels' cause? The cause is one of the rebels (plural), not a single rebel, no?

4. Tusk-cat loading screen: "not all these cats like being pet." Maybe pet is grammatically correct here -- I'm not sure -- but it sure sounds awkward. Rewrite?

Ack, I just noticed Q's separate thread on loading screens. Off to repost this there. Sorry.

I tipped a guild mate some money .. for example,I typed in "/tip CharName 1000". Here is what occurred

  1. The message I received was: "You successfully tipped HUMAN 1000c". Human is NOT even the name of the person I tipped.

  2. The person I tipped received the notification that "Human successfully tipped you 1000c".

  3. The e-mail verifying the tip contained the reference to Human also, instead of, the character name.
