Thread: Membership has Its Rewards!

so hypatheticly we coud have 100 self-powered harvesters by buying them?
Justhypatheticly: you would have to find 99 people on your server whochose that rewardwith the intent on selling it. And then have the money to buy them because lots of people want themand they will cost a fortune. The harvesters still take up a lot (pretty sure about that!) so you can only place as much as you have lots available. Unless you have 10 accounts, you would need other players you can trust to place or replace them. You would have to juggle like crazy with all the waypoints. And then find the time to visit all of them regulary to get the resources.
But yes, hypothetically, you could.

I think this is a great idea. However, I see at least two problems.
1: It's account based. This should be character-based. As it is, me and my brother both play the game, and have characters on different servers on the same account. The way I see this is that only one of us is going to be able to get anything.
I mean, I see the problems in it, like creating a character just to get the rewards, then deleting him, and doing it again, but you could discourage that by, say, making it so the character would have to be 30 days old or something, or by some other means. The highlighted part isn't an issue. Rule 1 from the EULA that you click "I accept" every time you log on states:1. Accounts are available only to adults or, in their discretion, their minor child. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian must complete the registration process, in which case he or she takes full responsibility for all obligations under this Agreement. By clicking the "I Accept" button, you represent that you are an adult and are accepting this Agreement either on behalf of yourself or your child. You may not transfer or share your Account with anyone, except that if you are a parent or guardian, you may permit one child to use the Account instead of you (in which case you may not use that Account). You are liable for all activities conducted through the Account, and parents or guardians are liable for the activities of their child. Corporations and other entities are not eligible to procure Accounts. So all you need to do is get in complience with the EULA and get a second account. Since you've not been in complience for the duration you've been playing, yes, one of you will lose out on thier reward, thats up for you to decide tho.
Alright, fine. Different scenario. Say I have two characters, on different servers, on the same account, and I play both of them regularly. Same principle.
Pick one of those two characters. He/she gets the reward. That's the way it has to be.

Is veteran status lost after having your account inactive for a certain period of time? By inactive I mean not subscribed to swg. If so, what is the grace period until you lose your veteran status?
No, it counts only the time you've been subscribed though. So if you signed up on June 1st of 2004 and then cancelled your account on November 1st and then signed back up on Febuary 1st, you would not be eligible for the 6 month reward untilMarch 1st. It's not based on the amount of time that has passed, but the amount of time your account has been active.
In this example...
Your SWG account was active June (1), July (2), August (3), September (4), October (5) then
February (6)... so the first day of March you would be eligible for the 6 month reward.

2. The anti-decay kit only works on weapons and items that can be insured.
So the anti decay will be acceptable on any item which it currently decayable? How will this effect repairing items, will repairs no longer be necessary on the selected item, i.e. armor that does not decay due to wear, or a weapon that does not decay due to specials use?
Will it apply to ship chassis/items?

Sounds great! Just getting a little love every few months for continued dedication (or in my case addiction) to the game will go a LONG way!
Can I assume new veteran rewards will continue to be added to the list as time goes on? I'm sure the community will continue to come up with new ideas.
Yes, we are asking the community for feedback on what you would like to see as a reward. Click here to post your suggestions!
