I would like to see as a reward for maybe 18 months,a second char per galaxy. The max nomber of chars would stay ythe same, jut lets us create 2 on one server.

ya, back to my question. Will this affect people who are still waiting to get their Sorosuub 3000. I hate to be rude, but I am at 5 months right now, I really don't want to have to settle for some doll when I could have had an awesome ship. Also will the Sorosuub's now be tradeable?

Since armor can be insured and since the items are trabeable does that mean someone could actually collect enough Anti-Decay kits so that his armow will never ever break? Or is it just the death decay and not battle damage.

Also does a item get fully repaired (like the geo breath masks and special edition glasses) if it was first damaged. Example if I have a item that is 95/100 use a anti decay kit on it will it become 100/100 and unable to decay there after?

If it wont decay, what would it matter if it was 95/100 or 100/100?

I think this is a great idea. However, I see at least two problems.

1: It's account based. This should be character-based. As it is, me and my brother both play the game, and have characters on different servers on the same account. The way I see this is that only one of us is going to be able to get anything.
I mean, I see the problems in it, like creating a character just to get the rewards, then deleting him, and doing it again, but you could discourage that by, say, making it so the character would have to be 30 days old or something, or by some other means.

2: The fact that after 12 months, it's only one every year. I think it should be one every 3 months or so. Yes, it encourages people to stick around, but do you really think people are going to play this game for that long to get these things?

Btw, I love the miniatures, the self-powered harvester (Convienient, although how hard is it to get power, and put it into your harvester? Not very.), and the anti-decay kit (Probably the most useful thing there). But the 30k resources? I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. Anybody can go out, buy a harvester, put it down, and soak up the resources. You'll have 30k in a flash. (Yeah, yeah, creature resources, but those are easy too.) As for the decorations, I wouldn't expect them to be claimed much, at least not for about ten years...

Making rewards character based would only promote cross server trades, which are already a major issue with regards to harvestors.

They are trying many things to now downplay the benefit of such tactics, by means of recyclers, and now high end resource benefits via veteran rewards.

They need to maintain this tactic to reduce unfair play practices such as cross server trades to maintain equality.

They've thought this through quite well actually and I applaud them for it.

Yeah, but....who cares? Anyone is going to be able to have any reward they want at some point anyway. It's just a matter of time, money and trading. Who cares if they get it from this server or another server?

Its simply not a tactic for cross server trades thats all, by all means go ahead and buy them.

But you are now on equal ground because of this.

Otherwise, everyone will claim 8 anti-decay kits, and THAT would destroy the game.

Are we going to have to buy something like JTL in order to get our Veteran's Reward as we did with the last "reward"?

The problem that would arrise if these were per character instead of per server (imo - I am not trying to speak for the devs) is that on day two of this going Live every account could have eight times the number of these things... this really devaluates it all very quickly and trivializes the whole point of Veteran Rewards... they need to be uncommon for Veterans to value them...

The highlighted part isn't an issue. Rule 1 from the EULA that you click "I accept" every time you log on states:

1. Accounts are available only to adults or, in their discretion, their minor child. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian must complete the registration process, in which case he or she takes full responsibility for all obligations under this Agreement. By clicking the "I Accept" button, you represent that you are an adult and are accepting this Agreement either on behalf of yourself or your child. You may not transfer or share your Account with anyone, except that if you are a parent or guardian, you may permit one child to use the Account instead of you (in which case you may not use that Account). You are liable for all activities conducted through the Account, and parents or guardians are liable for the activities of their child. Corporations and other entities are not eligible to procure Accounts.

So all you need to do is get in complience with the EULA and get a second account. Since you've not been in complience for the duration you've been playing, yes, one of you will lose out on thier reward, thats up for you to decide tho.
