I will post only one whineand here it goes....I ground out 20 proffessions. I have over 50 badges. Jabba's Themepark + all the "jedi" POIs + a ton of the easy POI's + Proffession badges. I do the /che and i get " Strong sense of the force" thats it. To me that just seems not fair. I am going to do the damn Nym themepark just to stroke my ego and see if it works. If it doesnt then I'm just going to quit on this disapointing game. I no longer have hours to hologrind in the new sense of the word for content badges. Which is rather stupid because it was determined that you didnt need badges to become jedi in the first place. I feel cheated as I know many of you other big time hologrinders do. Now it looks to me like i would have to spend the hour or so a day i get to play games and grind out these badges which in itself will take weeks and then i'm going to have to wait like 3 months or so for jedi? Not cool.

guys, if you are unhappy, just CANCEL your subscription
this is the ONLY way SOE will even CONSIDER thinking about our complains
you can subscribe at any given time again, so its a good think to show them what the community likes and dislikes.
If you truely belive that, you should quit and not come back....because the amount of people you MIGHT get to cancel with you is not gonna make SOE flintch

Infinity, Scylla, Intrepid are those servers I know that have been visited by the old geezer.
Anyone else?
For me, I got list of the TC fourms for the requirement badges. I have4/16.

It's not about being a conformist at all, but at least give the first 3 days (asTH said)a chance. We're only in the middle of day 2 for pity's sake. Quit trying to crucify them beforethat time.

just got the visit from the old man on Flurry
i have mastered 16 profs, 4 of them holos... i have 96 total badges... was glowing as soon as pub 10 went live
patience is the keyword in this new path to being jedi...

If they had provided information at least 24 hours before Patch 10 went live, most of this could've been avoided. But they didn't. They raised all our expectations and are now telling us to wait. I can and will bust them down for this farce.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: We were promised new content. I am glowy, I am pre patch glowy. I qualify. I should not be waiting in the wilderness like an idiot for the dirty old man to give me that content some day.

I know you feel frustrated, but don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
The Nyms Themepark is three missions.
Very easy.
The Warren is 2 badges which are also quite easy, and a fun puzzle.
Even if you dont do it for your Jedi slot, do it to experience and enjoy the content.

its cool, i still dont know in which group i am (lol)!
ok so i achieved 3 holos and a total off 7 proff (i'm not so grinder than some of you, just like to play... bought this game on june 29-03 hehe!) And my punition to have playing that way was a faint sense of the force... Ok whit some time i should accept this... heu maybe....
i did'nt know if i where on my silent because i dont try another holo...
badge done: exar, rebel theme park, tatoine hero, jedi'ruins, have above 40 badges dont know exactly how much...
so what now... i'm not a jedi fanatic, but i have to say it would be nice to try it and i think i deserve it like a lot off players...
for now i will continue to be a master commando and a master tera kasi to make this world a little bit true...
But damn give a chance to those people who havemade this world a reel world in past few months!
I dont realy like to read a noob who just play since 2 or 3 months that he is already glowy, i feel like i've been fooled!
I hope, and i will still hoping.

Folks again I tell you - in the new system the requirement is 1 mastered profession not 10 or 20 or 30! The main issue is completion of CONTENT badges and then the Jedi POI's. Content includes themeparks, Warren (which so far as I've seen on test center is mandatory unless you complete the whole corvette and get those badges).
My profile:
2 mastered professions (TKM & DR)
30+ POI badges including the 3 Jedi POI's and at least 5 "dangerous" POI's like the sarlacc, kryat dragon graveyard, etc..
Imperial Themepark
Rebel Themepark
Warren (2 badges)
Jabba's Themepark.
I was glowing as soon as pub 10 went live and I never completed my first holocron prof. For those who have completed numerous professions, you'll get a lot more FS unlocks than I will once you get to the village. That's your bonus, you get to leapfrog those of us who didn't hologrind and head much closer to Padawan.

I belive there is some people who are confused about how patch 10 works. There are several asking what group am I in... how much Xp will I be given well let me break this down for you in a direct manner

Explaination:
First what will throw you off is the term holo-profession, now dont let this confuse you what it means is One of the eight professions needed to unlock your Jedi Character. Now to tell what group your in count up the number of holocrons you did and subtract that from 8 and you will get
If you have… You will be granted access to the village…
No professions remaining: Automatically qualify
1 profession remaining: Automatically qualify
2 professions remaining: Group 1
3 professions remaining: Group 2
4 professions remaining: Group 3
5 professions remaining: Group 4
Like me I have done all four of my Holos with the fifth one going silent. This means I am in group 4 because there are 8 holoprofessions.
The xp works on the exact same if you did so many holopros you get holocredit based off this chart
If you have… The credit you will receive is…
No professions remaining: 6 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
1 profession remaining: 5 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
2 professions remaining: 4 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
3 professions remaining: 3 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
4 professions remaining: 2 Force Sensitive branches will be granted
5 professions remaining: 1 Force Sensitive branch will be granted
So if you have only done one of the "secret" professions settle in and relax and enjoy the game the next few days may be uneventful.
