Thunderheart, you promised a LONG time ago (December 8th!)that you'd tell us whether or not defenses stack:

Despite your promise, we sat around for weeks with no new info. On December 20th, after another thread basically asked "what gives?", youclaimed thatyou'd give us a temporary list of info prior to the combat revamp:

I defended you to others when they said, "yeah right, he won't bother to get the info."


Well, you proved them right.


We're still waiting for that info, which I can't imagine would take long to uncover if you just asked the Dev responsible for combat. Defenses are one of THE most debated issue in the game. Perhaps that's why you're afraid to answer any questions about them. However, you promised us on multiple occasions that you'd get us info. Those promises have not yet been fulfilled.


I'm still waiting for answers.

Instead of credits, what about limited use schematics? Zero money faucet and the opportunity to get really cool stuff. As an example, the faction banners you often see at bases would make a great decoration for your house, either inside or out. And people would be willing to pay for them, so money would change hands but not be added to the economy (actually, depending on the resources used, money may trickle out this way).

Fix the bazaars and vendors (which tend to go down every night on the weekends) before you monkey with the caps.



No decay + uber loot = /spit on crafters

Fix the economy and give crafters their $$$ worth... give us real revamp.

WOOKIEES!




Wookiees have been patitently waiting for replies to the issues associated with their race. The last real update we got on these issues was from Holocron many moons ago (months and months). This has gone on too long with little to no developer response other than "More stuff is comming". We would like to know when more stuff is comming, and what we can expect. Please give us some information, we knew that vehicles were in the works 4 months before they went onto test center why is it so impossible to get a reply about a busted species? I'm a very patient man but even I'm nearing my breaking point with this issue.



Better Loot




We heard you talk about it. But what ever happened to "better loot"? You've added in one or two new things such as nyms slug thrower, but is that all we get?

Before you go fixing those bounty hunter droids I hope you've done some work on jedi in general. Jedi have very little to do in this universe that they haven't already done other than "level", Spend their creds on kryat pearls, and avoid bounty hunters. How about tossing them a bone or two by adding in some exclusive jedi content like a theme park mission or quests? Something that will give them a reward beyond just credits or junk and something that's actually useful to them. Suggestions would be various metals for using in light saber crafting, or crystals, maybe even a pearl or two.....



Round Table Discussions






I was under the impression that "Round Table Discussions" required everyones participation. So I'm curious as to why all our questions and issues we raised at the last discussion didn't recieve any responces. I'm not suggesting that you sideline all the developers in the process but it'd be nice if this was more than a 1 way communication thread. If you'd just replied in the last thread about looking into "fixing the bounty hunter droids" perhaps we wouldn't have another 20 posts about it today....

OMG this sucks.


I feel like I'm wading through a bog of my own filth while trying to read this thread. I'm not gonna read ALL the posts, I don't know if what I'm posted has been brought up. If it has and I disagree or the person posting has his facts wrong he's certainly not going to be debated with or corrected.


As bad as it is for me I'm supposed to believe that YOU GUYS are wading through this feces?



The best suggestion I have seen so far that was short of opening back up an open forum was to at LEAST post threads on seperate issues that you guys are considering listening to us about.


And are you ever gonna use the In Concept board?

My top issues:


1 - Buffs are over powered. Buffs allow players to wear armor without consequence and are thus invulnerable with the right armor and spice.


2 - BH issues: bh droids, bh specials, bh defenses.


3- Mind damage should be taken out of combat or stims should include mind damage healing (like pet stims).


4 - Combat Medic disease and poison are over powered. One CM can incap a group of 20 with one or two actions.


5 - Flamethrower health damage and wounds are over powered. At least provide a way to douse the flames.


6- Defenses should cap. IE:dodge is not effective over 80. Accuracies should cap, but higher than defenses. IE: pistol accuracy is not effective over 100.


7 - Everyone should be able to use Stim A's.


8- Everyone should be able to deploy Basic Camps.


9- Cities should update to their max level possible (based on population) each week, not one level per week.


10 - Faction missions do not pay enough faction points; faction perks cost too much for non-human Imperials.


11- The whole player base system needs to be revamped: Smugglers should be able to slice to find base vuln times (no one else except admin of base would know);using non-combat professions to take down a base issilly;bases should be vuln all the time, exceptfor 2-3 hours after a failed take over; defenders should get small defensive bonus.

I'd have to say my biggest annoyance right now is not being able to use EAX due to the annoying vehicle hissing. However I hope you don't take that brake sound out completely. Just keep it from playing 1000 times at once.

It honestly seems to be working too.. I actually read all 7 pages and there have only been a handful of posts that even generated a response, the rest are people posting thier own gripes with little/no facts or nothing more than "I don't want X because it sucks"..

Is it me, or is this thread being used in place of an entire forum?

Seriously, TH, I get very little out of this thread. Most of the responses given are terse and uninformative, and the player posts are too many to sift through.

IMO, the recent forum changes have not helped communication issues. Perhaps from your side it is easier to filter, but over here the Dev comments are getting lost in the noise or we only get to talk about what you want to talk about...
