I couldnt agree more. Something has to be done about this.

Question for TH,
as most of us know a lot of "uber loot" type drops have been added to the game lalty as combat classes need things to hunt for, also the new dungeons are mostly group based and/or encourege loot camping for these drops, these 2 things were basicaly non existant when this game came out, and i noticed that space loot was mentiond in the IGN chat,
i would just like to know if this is the way the Devs intend to continue the game, as it stands my enjoyment has considerably decreced with all the camping inspired by the loot drops, especialy since i play a WS and cant make most of the new guns which have been added,
so is the future for this game going to continue to be moreloot based?
i remember back before release we were all told that this game wouldent be everquest in space, and the Devs came through on that, it wasnt, but it is starting to be.
1. May I please get the option to change the color of my personal light? I’m getting sick of yellow, and it makes screenshots look gross.
2. May I please get the option to remove the trails coming off the back of my vehicles, or at least personalize the color? And while you’re at it, please implement the option in SE too.
3. May I please get proper sounds one expects to hear coming from a speeder bike and swoop? Please?
4. May I please be able to adjust the position of the 3rd person camera so that the top half of the screen is not being wasted?
Or am I asking for too much?
while i was working on my chef xp for one of my characters... i noticed that large containers give general crafting xp and not food crafting xp... i would like to see this changed to food crafting xp...otherwise you might as well move it to the master chef box...
as another thing to think about... i would like to see identical stuff changed to a "personal" item... meaning.... that it has to be something you crafted... some people will be happy about this idea... whilst others will not ... but also make it so that if you purchase a schematic from someone the factory run will be "personal" items for you... this keeps the need for factories, but in a different way...this also increases the economy of selling schematics... as for what to do about differing items... make it so that it averages the stats of the "personal" items... ie a gun that takes 3 power handlers.... you put in 3 with 30, 35, 40 max dmg .... it will average them and it will craft them as if they were all 35 dmg...
also.... player crafted stocks really need fixed... they are a waste of time and effort right now....if they gave - to spd... and not + to spd... they would be worthwhile IMO...
TH,
I'm not sure if I posted this right, oh well. Regarding the new FS system, is it going to followan "organic" methodology to control the number of Jedi PC's in game? For example, in the current build, the community appears to have slided the majority of their unlocks into the late 20's as far as the number of professions mastered are concerned (Or the only posts we see are those who have done so LOL!). This seems very different from the early days when the characters were unlocking in the early to late teens. If this is true, it appears to be some sort of system ensuring the active FS character population remains somewhat controlled.
With this in mind, will an system to regulate the number of active FS characters exist in the new system? Will there be some sort of timer allowing FS unlocking quests to only be attempted at regulated intervals, etc? Thanks!
TH,
One quick question:
After the revamp, will i be able to get a second character on the same server after completing the quests, or reaching a certain level in jedi?
Thanks,
Dan
Hey TH,
One quick question concerning the jedi path revamp planned in publish 10:
Will the grinders still be able to grind up to that point or will the current system be shut off in an earlier publish such as 8 on Tuesday or 9 whenever that is schedule?
Thanks,
Ash'Akkar

1) instead of specials taking anything from the ham bars...each special would instead subctract from the current value of str, quick, foc....
2) con, stam will would still work exactly the same way as they do now...increased regen...except they would also increase the regen rate of the str, quick, and focus stats as well...since now those would become the "specials" ham bars...
3) of course some specials costs on some weapons would have to be reduced...but not by all that much (mind costs on rifles comes to mind, as well as a few others)
4) the max/current value of str, quick, focus would no longer have any effect on ham costs for specials...
5) no specials would be allowed to target these new pools...at least not until the changes and their effects have had some time for everyone to get used to...but the possibility for new tactics (i.e. removing an opponents ability to use specials...) brings in a whole new realm of possibilities for PvP...
theres probably a few other things that would need to get changed...like ham cost modifiers for the specials themselves...should probably get cut in 1/2 (especially since theres no way to reduce them to 0 anymore).
think about it...why should squeezing the trigger of your rifle hurt you more than someone shooting you with a pistol and hitting your head??? honestly someone explain to me why that would make sense at all. the other part being...having a way to spam specials all day long without any costs is probably more game breaking than any super high damage weapon will ever prove to be...well maybe except for those exceptional/legendary weapons...but they are fairly rare.
as far as specials being able to target the mind pool...well if this change were to go in, a simple solution would be to have heals capable of healing all 3 pools...and most likely increase the med use on stim b's...at least to med use 10...but there should be a difference between the A's and B's...even if its only 5.

Two ideas... Have a specific planet with many caves that a jedi must travel to to find force crystals, many caves would be necessary to prevent a BH camp outside a single or even a couple caves.
Other is a jedi survey tool... or just a force power to sense the metals needed and crystals, should work like artisan tools... or give system messages when near a crystal and give waypoint (similar to high concentration detected for Artisans)
The other option is for high crystal loot drops for jedi characters.

I know it's inportant, but i think we definately need more factions, valarians vs hutts, and be actual members not just have a few brownie points.
Also another droid module could be a delivery droid.
Make item crates more real... i.e. can't carry in inventory need a binary load lifter to move them. (even though we will have our ships in our pockets, Lol) And once space exp. Smugglers can transport sliced materials ect. with smaller detection likely hood.
Maybe if it's not too hard the way the Correlian Corvett is instanced, maybe our ships could be parked in space ports the same way, so we can't just pull them out anywhere, but there won't be a big pile either. and then put admin rights or somethign on the door, so someone can get their binary load lifter in to load a ship or friends that my cruise along in OUR VERY OWN MELLENIUM FALCONS WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Developers,
May we please get an option to ignore public (spatial) macros. As a master musician I need to be able to read spatial chat to watch for people who are looking for buffs. As it is with the macro entertainers and advertisers, I currently have ~200 players on my ignore list just so I can carry on conversations (yes... an actual at keys entertainer!!) and watch for those who need buffs.
Other games I have played have been able to tell the difference when a player has typed something and when its simply a puclic chat macro. I would suggest an option box that allows you to "Ignore Spatial Macros". It would allow those of us who aren't looking for the latest and greatest new loot vendor to have conversations in Coronet or Theed without massive lag or massive ignore lists. And then when we are interested in finding a new source for brandy, we can uncheck that box and watch for advertisements.
The option would only ignore public (spatial) chat macros and "barker bots". That way people who use macros in group/guild chats to better organize raids or hunting parties still can. And people who really do want to sell something or are looking for training, can still do it by typing in what they want to say instead of just running an AFK macro for 18 hours a day.

Ok, here is a thought...
With the addition of a second char to everyone, there should also be a Co-owner list.
This list would be limited to maybe 5-10 people.
You would have to be near the person you want to add, and you would bring up a window similar to the trade window.
This window would have a warning stating that anyone on the list has full access to everything you own. Including destroy rights.
When you both agree to it, you lots merge, and when you place a harvestor, it automaticly send an email to all on the list, with the wp, and everyone is auto admin as well.
The other thing to help cut down on people stealing things, would be the only way to get off of the list is if you both agree again.
The only thing that might be hard, is if you have 6 people on the list, how would you work the who agrees to invite, or let someone leave. Maybe this could be done as an email insted of a trade type window. When somone is invited to the co-owner group, an email goes out to those already on the list, asking if they want to let this person join. If they do/don't there is a check box, and a reply back button, that if everyone votes yes, the person will then join in. Leave this open for at least 48 hours, so if someone in the group is not on, when they log in, they can then respond.
Just a thought I think would be really cool, there are many people that pay for 2+ acounts, and when we get a second char, that will double our space. It would be very nice to have a way to deal with 40+ lots.
Hope this makes sence, if anyone like the idea, push it hard, maybe it will happen if enough respond to it!
