Ahh Revedon that is an AWESOME idea........However, i think it would require much too much work on the part of SOE to ever make it happen, but nice idea!

The assininity of "being patient" while SOE rifles through our wallets is hilarious.
What if, lets say, I put a hold on my credit card payment to SOE, and my answer to your accounting department was for you to be patient?

I am super mad!! On phase one I picked wrong quest [it's not like there was any guidance as to what skill you were unlocking when you talked to npc]and unlock ranged accuracy so i had to wait 3 weeks to unlock something I ACTUALLY wanted. I wanted luck, and i read the player guide posted online here that seems to be sanctioned by devs. It says to go to this hammerhead guy to get luck quest and that it will be a survey quest and the skill unlocked will be LUCK. I have this guide printed out and i am looking at this statement right now. Well guess what I got when i finished the quest? SURVEYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS A FRIGGIN LOT SOE!! now I have to wait 3 MORE weeks to get something I actually want. I could cry ..........

Hehe. I've run into this plenty of times in my programs. Just because you tell a computer to wait exactly 1,000,000 seconds doesn't mean the computer will agree with you on what 1,000,000 seconds is

No offense JustG, but you and Thunderheart can spare me your lectures on the nuances of Jedi doctrine until after you have provided me a way to become a Jedi other than destroying the entire animal population of Dathomir and Dantooine. As it stands now, the only way is killing, killing, killing, and more killing....
And then killing a little more.
Once I have a way to advance as a Jedi that does not involve the mass-slaughter of innocent animals and NPCs, then you can talk to me all you wantabout being calm, passive, and having all the patience in the galaxy...
All the crafting in the world will not help my Jedi progress. Sure it would help someone get a nice, new padawan learner, but I would really like to be a Jedi -- not a mindless killing machine with a glowing sword. As it is right now, the only way to increase my abilities is to cause death, mayhem, and chaos among the local populace of wayward planets.
I seem to remember a wise, green alien saying "A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack." Apparently that little guy must have lived in a different Star Wars Galaxy than the rest of us.

But actually, that brings another question to mind. If this is a timer being ticked off by the servers, will each server start their phase at a different time. If Kauri, say, was having technical difficulties and was down for a day longer than the other servers over the 3 week period, would it start later? Or do the servers sychronize their clocks at some point?
[Edit] Yeah... went back and read some posts, guess it's different for each server. Sorry, I'm an idiot!

can we get an ETA on a fix for the Vehicular Control Quest in phase 2? I cannot believe that I completed 4 runs and my 5'th was bugged. CSR tells me that the developers are aware and that they cannot help me out. I just want to complete the quest since I'm so close.

The question is now..
We know that phase2 is imminent.. No one knows for sure exactly when its going to switch but at the moment it doesnt really matter.
I reckon at least 50% of the people visiting the village are intending doing Enhanced Reflexes:Vehicle Control for phase 2.
Now that we know this quest is bugged to hell and it cannot be completed can we expect the bug to be fixed in the next 3 weeks?
Or are you going to leave it until next phase so that those of us who needed this to unlock are going to have to wait for other phases?
If this does get fixed during phase 2 is phase 2 time going to be extended again as was phase 1?
Its a pity EQ2 is run by SOE..
I do intend playing it but to be honest I'm debating whether to bother paying for another SOE game again.
Your customer relations is diabolical..
