the following copied from here:

[I know this is not game breaking but...]
right now any number of people can sit on a couch or anything that has the 'sit' option... I think it'd be better if only one person could sit on any given 'sitting object'

it's really annoying to be sitting in my cantina on my couch and someone comes in and sits down on top of me...

also of lesser importance it'd be terrific if the large couches that appear to have room to sit three characters could in fact sit three characters

the sit button on large couches could drop a sub menu of 'center', 'left', 'right'... if someone is already sitting on the couch and another person comes along and just clicks 'sit' it should make them sit in the spot that's not taken and if all spots are taken it should say that there is no room on the couch

the love seats could have sub menu options of 'left' and 'right'

this would increase the mood a great deal in buildings using a few of the beautiful large couches instead of 20 small couches and would also make better use of the item counts

and lastly while I'm talking about couches! ...... there is currently a graphics glitch that move the occupant of a sitting object forward so that he/she is actually hovering over the floor in front of said object

thanks,
Sartinius

I'm not sure if anyone from other servers have mentioned this, but the high level planets seem to be very sparsely spawned, I'm on Chimaera.

I've spent 4 days hunting on Yavin 4, Dantooine and Endor, and I can often go 4-5km without seeing a single spawn.

I know the amount of spawns reduces with the server load, but the adventure planets are turning into wastelands.

Can we please get someone to look at this problem ?

cheers

Wookiee can't wear armor making them useless in combat.

Wookiee can't wear the new crafter clothing making them useless as crafters.

I would like to start a petition to allow the last Wookiee in the game to change his name to
to Chewbacca so he will feel special and possibly not make Wookiee extinct.

Jedi will be rare and difficult - No
Increased Dev communication - No
CU will balance combat - No
Most of the bugs from launch fixed - No
saintchuck will continue to pay - No

- I supported the CURB, the Devs and the attempt to make SWG a better game and have realized it didn't work so I'm quitting in less than 2 days and won't be tricked into coming back again. Trick me once, shame on you...

Agreed! I am thisclose to quitting my Wookiee character out of frustration, ending 8 months of hard work. IF I come back to this game, it will be as a human, certainly.

Hmmm... Is Palpatine running things over at SOE? A galaxy made up of just humans, other races held in thrall to them, sounds like the Emperor's dream scenario to me...

TH,

What about the Accolade Badges? Are they still being given out as Q-3PO indicated or were they just a CARROT?

And while I'm posting somewhere you are reading I just want to share my concern over the trend I see of "balancing" combat with the dabblers/stackers in mind. [With what we know about the end goal of the combat changes] You are making it even *harder* to play this game at a high level for those not paying the templates you're balancing. My specific problem is that each change we've seen (made or proposed) to the brader class of pistol wielding combatants (dot changes, special changes, cert changes) have made it very difficult to play this game as a Master Smuggler without also having some or all of the pistoleer tree. Perhaps some DF moves are too powerful in the hands of a Master pistoleer, but please be concious of what you're doing to the Smugglers who are not Pistoleers if the changes you make are in the DF line and not the Pistoleer tree. Also, while I understand the Rep. Blaster cert fix in general (way overpowered for an "everyman" gun) the move as proposed leaves Smugglers out in the cold with a very limited assortment of weapons - No AR weapon at all (cept for the SR Combat which noone makes for a variety of reasons) - and no weapon cert to call our own.

Actually the game will be easier at the high end because the "invulnerable" templates will be fixed and all professions will be on a level playing field, but in any event, this is something we need to focus on after the HAM revamp goes to TC in Pub 8 and after the Combat Balance goes into effect (tentatively Pub 9 and holding...)

Er. The combat stacking thing and removing of 'invulnerable' templates will balance the field in PvP, but I think this particular person is talking about how smuggler seems to be on the losing end in PvE as well.
Losing defensive capacity, losing weapons, having few weapons that work without hybridizing a second profession, all lead to what's being mentioned (along with things like 'Ok, if TK, Smuggler, and Commando all require unarmed 4, why is it only TKs that get VK certs?), not the pvp pain... at least not with this particular issue.

Thunderheart

Wookiee players deserve and update!

You keep talking about balance to combat and yet you ignore the most unbalanced part of the game.

WOOKIEES NEED SOME TYPE OF USEFUL ARMOR!

At what point is SOE going to actually address this issue? When all of the present Wookiees have quit their character or the game for that matter. (not that I intend to do either, but some people will)

Give us some indication that you actually hear us and are working on a REAL solution.

Could we please get some info on when/if/ever the Heroof Tatooine (Hermit badges quests) are going to be working properly? I understand that there are many things on the devs plate, but this issue has been around for months.

Thank you in advance

When Zones of Control (ZOC) were removed, it was stated that they would be reworked and reintroduced to the game to give the GCW purpose, and affect the game world. The primary purpose of ZOC was so there would be a reason for setting up bases and defending them, other than the cost of the base itself. It was supposed to affect a variety of aspects from factional spawns in the area, to player city and housing taxes, maintenance costs, and a whole lot more.

Where is the reworked ZOC? What is the reason players are supposed to have to participate in the GCW other than PvP itself for its own sake?

To expand on my earlier dynamic content question: during SWG's development Holocron once stated that SWG would never have static spawns on static timers. In other words, there would be no "X mob spawns everyY minutes atZ location". With Publish 6, we have at least 2 static named spawns on static timers in the Geonosian dungeon alone.

My question is, is it the future of SWG to be a glorified sci-fi version of EQ1? What happened to "it will never be EQ in space"?

I think it is obvious what the two biggest player concerns are...the wookiee armor issue and the hermit quests. How about you give us an answer and stop with the BS content? No one cares about Cu Pa & Bantha mounts there's MANY problems that need to be taken care of.

How about you guys dedicate a publish to just fixing bugs as someone suggested earlier.

I disagree with the suggestions being made to fix the Wookies, which I agree are way too weak and vulnerable to attack.

Rather than allowing Wookies to wear armor, and thereby making us dress like everyone else, why not simply improve the race? Consider the comments about Chewie ripping off arms etc.... and during therescue of Leiascene when Luke and Han were escorting Chewie to prison remember the bullets bouncing around him, he just waves them off like bothersome flies. Wookies should not be forced to looklike overgrown ewoks! We should be naked, except for bandoleers or backpacks (both would be better). Give us better natural armor stats and greater power in UA types of combat. Dont make us just another armordependant spice adictedspecies! This advantage would equalize us with armor wearers and preserve our unique race.

What's up with the holo system? I wish the Devs would let us know!
