jeez....you people whine, the devs fix it, and you whine some more...

why don't you all freaking just shut up, and try throwing out some constructive criticism?...

like pictures with wookie armor graphic glitches, so the devs can actually have something to work with, instead of bitching and moaning about "oh whaaaa i can't mindlessly kill stuff" or "whaaaaa too long before publishes"....

god you people are pathetic....

devs...and no this isn't me ass-kissing....it's me saying thank you for the work you put into this....i know probably only a small portion of the community appreciates it, but those of us who do, appreciate it immensely, and always look forward to the next batch of additions....

thank you

That's ass-kissing by any stretch of the imagination. This game is so extremely badly coded its no wonder they can't use the existing code . Honestly, the entire game needs to be rebuilt from the ground up - it feels like it was developed prior to the EverQuest:Ruins of Kunark and the Development team paid no attention to any of the other 'happenings' in the MMO world.

Graphics alone don't make a game. My bit of constructive critism as a Beta Tester - Declare this Beta4, refund the money, fire the development staff over a period of time, fire the management staff immediately and take this game seriously starting next month.

P.S. I hope Development will begin addressing the Ten Questions and the Racial Threads before Publish 9 - such as answering them and all. Some of them came along with issues addressed in this patch.

Hey Thunderheart, don't know if anyone has mentioned this but yesterday's patch seems to have completely borked the tailor socketing system (related to experimentation?). Now master tailors are having a very difficult time getting four socketed items... lots of 2, 3, 1 and even no sockets coming up. It is completely and noticably different than we've ever experienced before. There's a thread going about it on the tailor forum... please check it out.

thx

Also to the wookies STOP complaining about this NEW ARMOR it has been Stated that this is only the First armor and will be the weakest out of the bunch. you will get better armor soon as shown by the other wookie concept art. Think of this armor as ubese armor that wasn't made with advance componets. cuz really this armor is just the begining and you are getting better armor so there is no need to complain about it. cuzreally you were givin armor when you had none and the devs weren't on ther own ever add any woookie armor to the game.

and to the people that think that wookies should have there hams lowered dont even think about it. wookies should be a little harder to take down then a normal player like what used to happen in the begining of the game. that is when people feared wookies when no one wore armor.

Very valid point. I remember back in the early days when Composite was unheard of. I was so proud of my bone armor .

So if the Corevette is being pushed back to around April the 13th, does this mean publish 8 has now been pushed back to the beginning or middle of May?

For all the people who laughed at the wookie armor concept drawing, fear not, the Ceremonial Armor looks 100 times better in live than it does in the concept drawing. Given how well it turned out I cannot wait to see the Hunting armor in game. I have a small portion of my sizable fortune set aside to aquire every piece of wookie armor.

agree with you 100%...but it think its because Koster was using his dinosaur game theories and nearly decade old UO2 engine...if you where not in the free BETA then you would not be aware that most of the game we see now is only a year or less old...

i also agree that the entire SWG team needs to be purged....get some people in here who can FIX the things that are broken and actually add some FUN to the game.

Koster would know fun if it was his cojoined twin.

The new Wookiee armor is about equal to Chitin in its resists, but it's HAM cost is a bit lower mostly because it is only 4 pieces vs the 9 of Chitin. Wookiee armor does not include boots or gloves, so Trandoshan have nothing to complain about. Wookiee armor has a chest/helm combined piece so to get chest converage they take a modest hit to their Mind. However, since the chest theoretically covers at least the chest and head and maybe the bicep area as well, it will take damage a lot faster than the Chitin chest.

For comparisons of armor types, I have been working on a page using stuff I have made: http://www.tshrew.net/ainwyn/Armor/Stats.html

Just to elaborate on Ainwyn's post, right now wookie armor comprises of three pieces that are rarely hit (2 arms, 1 leggings), and then a piece that covers both the chest and head that takes most of the abuse. In use for about a day for my wookie doc (holo grinding brawler) my arms and leggings are at 80% of original condition, while i'm already on my second chest plate.

Hopefully the remaining wookie armor sets are balanced a little more accurately between the various pieces.

Finally for anybody who's interested, my armor (from a good master armorsmith who makes 90% composite) was 54%/24%.

Thank you for the Wookiee armor. It looks amazing! Much better than the concept (grin). I look forward to the future pieces of armor and also to the tailor/ID additions. Wookiee braids maybe?

I enjoy every aspect of this game. Really really wonderful!

This is something that Im working with NJ62 (Tailor Correspondent) on. I've read the thread and have done some investigations. Currently, what seems to be happening is that a master tailor who also has all 4 engineering artisan boxes (which give you artisan experimentation) gets 4 sockets every time still.

Definitely not Th - I'm Master Tailor, Master Artisan, I've hit 4 sockets only twice now in since the publish, I blame the Wooks!!

TH,

This is not true. I've got a Master Tailor, Master Artisan Master Chef on the Starsider server and have noticed the reduced socketing. It's severe and I've not gotten 4 sockets on any clothing crafted from the Tailoring tree, the artisan tree yes, but not the Tailoring Tree.
