So let me get this strait, and then tell me if im right..... We still have to holo grind without holos? i stoped on my 3rd holo.. BH.. and then started other profs.. im at 10 profs right now.. how in the hell do i know when the old man will visite me... someone i dont care if yer a dev or you did TS someone plz tell me how this system works... beacuse it looks like the system is the same.. but they added a couple crappy dilivery quests to get yer damn boxes.....
Oh! i'd also like to mention that half the cities on my maps are gone... they no longer appear.. anyone else have that prob with the launch of the dreaded pub 10?

You can highlight in big ugly colors all you want, but it won't make it true.
I know two people who unlocked during publish nine, one was online for 5 hours, and never got the old man, the other has been online for 9 and hasn't gotten the old man either. If you've unlocked, you're in the first group who will see the old man within the next three days.
Everyone else will have to wait quite a bit longer.

I have to ask this question I been waiting to be a jedi since release of the game. I didn't burn through my professions however I did complete all 32 professions. I finished shortly after publish 9. The holy grail of publish 10 when I can finally get my jedi slot gets here and what do I have to do wait another 1-3 days. Look quite honestly this just makes me want to puke.
How is it fair to hold the damn carrot out for this long and telll me its coming and then say I have to wait yet again.
Honestly I hate your **edit** guts thunderheart I hope you have a heartattack tonight.

it has been spoken of at great length on TC and thru the character copy overs of Eclipse & (i forget the other server as it wasnt my home server 
) the glowy IS the kick off to the old man visit.

I dont know if its just my cynicism, or the fact that ive been perpetually pissed all day so bear with me....
First, to all of the people that havent unlocked but are glowy by virtue of badges: Shut up and quit whining in the forums, there are serious concerns of teh community that people are trying to get addressed and your whining and bitching isnt letting those needs be addressed. You're at the bottom of the food chain, you didn't hologrind, you didnt do anything that makes you worthy of the jedi you want NOW. So shut up and let the deserving people get their questions through.
Secondly, gating this phase of jedi was ultimately stupid, as it ends up generating about 3000 irate people that took the day off and do nothing but spam the boards now. Cities such as coronet, theed, and the ever popular mining oupost (at least for sunrunner) have never had gated access, and thousands pour through them hourly. i dont see this village being any different.Ultimately, why should the unlockers from between 9 and 10 be required to do teh into quest, this silly aurilia conversion, the exit quest and the every popular padawan trials. No person that unlocked previouslyin their method had ever been subject to it, they shouldnt be either. logically, this could have been circumvented by allowing the post 9's to assign skills like jedi had to after the skill revamp then starting them at padawan with a swift boot. It just seems as if it may have been more intelligent to do this so that the post 9's dont feel slighted, as in a way of distinguishing us from people that didnt unlock.
Just mytwo cents, and hopefully more constructive than whining.
Patch 10: Millions of voices cried out in releif only to realize that they had been shafted, only to begin to cry out in anger.

i'd also like to add that i feel a faint sense of the Force... **edit** does that mean.. how close am i to glowy.. and when will the old man visite me... i only did 2 holos and then 8 diff profs after that....lil help plz

Maybe if the devs actually responded on these "feedback" posts we could get some answers, instead they just make a lot of feedback posts so we all talk amongst ourselves...

Hmmm see people do 8-9 professions and unlock 6 months ago i grind out 31 and unlock between publishes. Yay I get my jedi at publish 10. Wait no I dont .....now i have to wait for 1-3 days...I have never flamed the devs or the game but im getting tired of waiting now and tired of paying my monthly fees when I dont even log in to play...SOE I sure hope theres still people around to play your Jump To Lightspeed.
