Nice patch, but I did notice that armor holes seemed to be back.


Fought several NS tonight. After getting cloned noticed that out of the last 15 attacks from 2 sisters, there was 2 force power usages. Nice. Then the other 13 were normal attacks with pikes. 11 of those weren't stopped by my armor. It was a suit of comp and they weren't using stun batons.


But it is nice seeing them use powers and weapons again.

I think the increase in loot kit drops was kinda pointless. Before, I was able to sell them EASILY for 100k each (yes, that is still below what everyone else sells them for). I would just go into the auction channel, say what I had, and i would almost instantly get a few messages. Today, I found 56 total kit pieces. 56! And I'm having a hard time selling them for even 50k. Put the regular pieces back the way they were, and increase the rate ofthe adhesive. Those are still being sold for over a million each.

Hi, I am a 3/4/2/3 CH on Radiant and this patch has completely ruined my ways of making money. I used to take Janta mission at the Mining Outpost in Dantooine and kill them in about a half an hour and make roughly 25k. Just for the recordI have a bio-engineered cu pa with light armor and 60% kinetic resists, I used him to tank the Janta whileI snipe from afar with my rifle (I wear no armor) and it used to be relativly easy.Not anymore. I took my first Janta mission today and was surprised when they were hitting my cu pa for 500 DAMAGE with special attacks!!!!!!!! On top of all that theyall usebleeding attacks which cause him to go down even faster. This is absolutley insane!!! I am almost making no money now because i have to use about 10pet stim Ds to cure my pet after each lair. Andeveryone know they arent cheap by any means. If you're going to make humans more powerful atleast make the mission payouts better, hell I just about break even nowbetween stimps and brandy! I'm all for making the game harder, just dont make it so that non-melee characters can't make money anymore. It was hard enough getting themillion creds to buy the damn loot kit parts before....

Personally, I hate that the NPC's do specials... do you know why?


Because... I am a bounty hunter. And as a bounty hunter, I have 0 defenese mods, except the very few I get from marksmen. You know what that means? YEP! I get killed in 2 shots by even easy NPCs. Yes, I am wearing a full set of efectivness sliced Composite.


I think they really sould have revamped the combat professions, especailly those who need it, before adding this... annoyance to my game play expereince. I seriously will walk into town with 5000 CorSec faction, and they attack and DB me. No, its not -5000. It's 5000.


Please, help us out at least a little.

THANK YOU guys for bringing back NPC special moves. I have to admit...the same Rebels I was soloing yesterday while grinding Brawler were tearing me up today and I absolutely LOVED it. Getting killed or hurt isn't fun, but neither is farming every NPC in the game. You've done a great thing here by making NPCs a challenge in the game.


HOWEVER, *please* do not further increase loot kit drop rates. The whole idea of having loot kits isto have a rare, unique item you can display. If you increase drop rates any more, EVERYONE will have one and you will have completely eliminated the purpose for loot kits.

The adhesives still drop at a greatly lower rate than anything else. But the rate on everything else is awesome now. Up from 1 piece every two hours to 1 every 5-10 minutes.





Back yet again, for another round of SWG... um... fun. Yeah, that's it. (It's not just a diversion while I wait in the queues for WoW BG's)

Notice how the area effect of Area Poison/Disease Heals is contingent upon the CD of the resources? (by 33%). Well...none of the resources that go into the actual packs contain any sort of Conductivity. I've never seen a corn, reactive or inert gas, or meat that has the conductivity stat.


While I applaud the Devs on their attempt to make the CD applicable the same way it is with Combat Medic schematics, it appears that they have again made a glaringly obvious oversight.


To ward off any arguments about subcomponents--the individual resources used in the subcomponents do not affect the final build--only the stats apparent in the pack. In order to maximize the area for one of these, you would need a dispersal mechanism that has its area maxed out...but the conductivity of the resources that went into this Dispersal Mechanism would be irrelevant to the final build of the pack.

Well the NPC's using special is a nice touch... and after being incapacitated for the second time and watching my HAM drop from 75% to25% in one hit from the NPC special.. the novality wore off really quick. Here I have an low level NPC attacking me while trying to check a harvestor and I get whacked from behind with a special. Well lucky me... I am a Bounty Hunter that has a choice of a carbine, pistol, or lightning cannon... all ranged weapons that I need to get away from the guy to use. Needless to say I couldn't get far enough away and with yet another special from the NPC I was down in two hits from of a low level NPC. Even with composite armor with 80% I went down quicker then I should have. I don't see how this could even be placed in the game without any thought to the ranged players. Yes.. the concept was cool... but the delivery sucked in every way possible. I never has such a worse experience in the game.


So now since my lightning cannon cost me so much on my HAM and it takes so long to regen I have no choice but to run critter missions anymore. I am the minority in the game and all I do is Solo for the most part. I don't belong to a guild, nor do I want to be. I don't run around buffed where ever I go and I do have some of the best armor I could buy. I just don't see how this could be released without the special's costing the NPC anything on HAM while I use one special now and I might as well shoot myself and save the NPC the trouble. The HAM revamp should have been done first. The only thing SOE did was kill the game for the solo ranged guys even more while the TKA really don't notice much of a difference.


I am just frustrated with the whole attitude of SOE. Bounty is almost complete useless when I have Dancer TKA Master's challenging me to duels which I know they will win. Carbine Sucks.. I might as well throw rocks at the mark. Pistol eye shot?... Might as well run up and poke them in the eye. Lightning cannon is good... but the speciall really doesn't do as much damage as it should when you are carrying around a 900 damage weapon. And best of all... SOE makes it easier to make Novice Bounty Hunter now... and everybody and their brother is grinding it out. I can't enter Coronet without tripping over a novice BH.


JustG... you want to revist something? How bout you put it back to 9.2 fix the Wookie Amor crash... Revamp the HAM.. then maybe test the NPC special attacks. I am sure I am not the only person with only ranged weapons that is frustrated with the new release. And that just builds on top of the BH frustration. Rather then pushing out JTL... fix what people are paying for now... or they may not buy your next product.


Way to make the game even less fun for the solo BH player... I applaud your lack of thought.
