NPC AI is still broken. All mobs fight with tka moves, don't use specials and force users don't use the force. I have killed thousands of NPCs and have only see ONE with a weapon in melee other than their fist. I was engaged with a NS Protector last night with who had a Rantok. I was so surprise I almost fell out of my chair.



FIX THE NPC AI, it would quiet a good portion of the "game is too easy" complaining. Nightsisters were 10x more difficult when they use the force and weapons.

Bugs
-------------------------------------------------------------------

1: Whisper Bird missions on Yavin still bugged/duds


2: Rubber band effect of dismount still going strong (some times up to 150m from dismount spot)


3: Up command in /movefurniture up xx still very flakey (hardly ever works for me)


4: Animation on harvesters still flakey (mainly heavy mineral)


5: Factory Crates of mines still read 0


6: Speerdes STIFF auto store for no reason


7: After "storing" speeder bike it is still in the world and you can still be on it. Calling it again causes another instance of it.


8: About every 3rd (or more) Bounty Hunter mission is bugged


9: Most of Pistoleer Prof. is bugged/not working


10: Ticket Collector still needs to be clicked a number of times to function


11: Jawa Ion rifle does not work on lairs


12: You can still get a TEF even if your OVERT


13: Getting stuck on speeder in front of THEED starport - attempting to store bike causes a type of cant fit in inventory error, and dismounting is nonfunctional!


14: In you grand attempt to fix the -shooting through walls of faction bases to kill troopers on the outside for faction farming exploite - you made it so that when fighting them on the outside of the base they are able to walk through the retaining all like it wasnt even there!


15. Mission completion for a mission will not report even though it's done.


16. Sometimes you complete the mission and the waypoint remains even though lair is gone.


17. The mission reward split is not reported.


18. The mission reward may not be paid.


19. Pets may get a share of the reward.


20. Sometimes reward is paid into cash instead of the bank.


21. Dantooine is still laggy during peak hours


22. Missions on Dantooine dont pay out after mission is complete



Imbalances
----------------------------------------------------


1: Faction Turrets still FAR FAR FAR too weak both in damage and hitpoints


2: Rifleman Jawa rifle need a HUGE nerfing to 1/2 power or less


3: Combat Medic or DOC badly needs AREA poison / Disease cure


4: All GEO weapons need to be taken out of the game or nerfed big time


5: Armor needs to be completely redone and PLEASE do not add any super loot armor (ris) this causes HUGE Imbalances


6: Total number of Jedi needs to be regulated to no more then 20%-30% of server population


7: Cost of repair on Speeder, and Swoops is actually more then it cost to make a new one. Now its cheaper to buy CRATES of speeder and throw them away when they blow up - desposable bikes is that the intention here?


8: HAM cost on most wepons is to high witch causes the game to be unplayable with out buffs



General Problems
----------------------------------------------------


1: All new content (GEO Cave / Corvett /Death Watch) is being added for only elite combat people. This is a total outrage and needs to be delt with we need new content that ALL players can enjoy!


2: Moons such as Rori and Talaus need some harder POIs to attract trafic and people to them. POIs on these moons pose no challange for elite combat players.


3: If you have a TEF you cant even enter you own established residence. TEFed people should have access to all buildings in the city they live in, and Guild Hall they belong to.

Well, I cant EDIT my post, so it looks like i have to post again!

Stun damage type weapons (stun baton, geo stunner, etc.)do not damage lairs. I think this is intended as part of the game design, why I don't know. Wouldn't surprise me if it were a bug though

Let me give you the answer for this one, "it will all be resolved in the combat balance."

Just a note :

Since Dantooine hardware was upgraded, the lag has got steaditly worse on Chimaera (and other servers from what I read) to the point 50% of missions no longer complete (loss of xp and payouts).
Janta missions in particular do not payout most of the time.

Opening a vendor can take 10+ minutes, as can buying an item. Accepting a mission takes several minutes etc.

Something needs to be done about it

Oh, just to add, can something be done about natural spawns on busy servers ?
You never see any on Dantooine at all now, except for about 10mins after a server reset.

Many people can only get XP off certain high level mobs now, and they are hardly spawning on the advanced planets. I would rather hunt natural spawns than grind missions 14/7 - currently I'm forced to do missions, putting about 350k credits an hour into the economy.

They need to remove TEF all together and only allow OVERT faction members to engage in GCW Combat.


This solves the following problems:



  1. The TEF buildings issue

  2. The 1 Overt in a stealth combat attack group problem

  3. Helps those defending a raid on thier base as when attackers are killed and reclone they would be covert and could not attack unless they first switch back to overt

IMO, if you want to run Faction Missions, you should have to declare your Faction to do so!

It's nice to see the devs come out and post, especially in the numbers the tracker is showing lately.


Perchance we could get some of those devs to consider the many issues and bugs going on 9 months now publicly and pull back on the Jedi and Fan Fest love-in that seems never-ending?

I mentioned this in the death watch thread, but spending an extra 5 minute with each patch to attach an appropriate picture to the new message (rather then letting it default)in the loading screen would be a good finishing touch to the patch. Its the small things....

Having now lived for a considerable amount of time with both manifestations of these SWG boards, it has become rather apparent that the original format was far superior to the present onein a number of ways.


You will never have a singular topic weekly discussion simply because NO single issue is primary to ALL players at the same time, and players as one would expect, are most interested in discussing those areas of gameplay that effect their SWG experience most at that given time.


Return the open forum with individual threading. In that way, all topics can be mused over, or utterly ignored, as any given poster should choose to do. The Developers would be free to begin any threads they feel are of current or profound import, and the players can respond as they will.


Although you have made a most valiant attempt Thunderheart, the futility of this borad layout is becoming increasingly more apparent, even as your plee for more central focus, more or less, admits this failing.
