Thread: Publish 8.2 Feedback: Group Enhancements
- When in a group, a waypoint to the nearest group mission is displayed. The nearest mission is the mission closest to the most people in the group.
- Group member status bars will continue to report position information, even if the player is on the other side of the world. If the group member is on another planet, the planet name is displayed in the status bar.
Have you been able to take advantage of these items yet? What have been your experiences?
When joining a group, people out of range are only showing as (distance) rather than Name (distance).
No grey arrows for people on same planet & out of range

was at teh tusken fort earlier today and whenever people left the group or got out of old range the group list would start seriuosly messing up. for a good hour i saw someone who had completely logged out was the group leader while someoen entirely different actually was.

Do you ever plan on putting in an option to turn off the nearest mission waypoint from apearing on screen?
If you group with just your pet or join a solo group there is no need for the nearest mission waypoint.
it's very annoying not being able to know what's the name of the people...
"hey, someone is missing, can someone in the group remember what's his name was ?"
Idea is that solo groups will soon be a thing of the past. With the comabt balance (aka:Super Nerf) and the hams and attack hits of most creatures being raised - the idea of solo groups is soon to be obsolete

Group member status works sometimes, i traveled from endor to theed and i had only out of range, when shuttled to another city some group members had name (planet) some only (planet), shuttleing back to theed i got again out of range, going to bestine only (planet) and no names.
On endor sometimes the distance wasn't reporting sometimes it was.

the distance monitors sometimes blank out the player names or stop reporting distances alltogether.
the nearest group mission waypoint indicator is about as irritating as irritating can get. give us some way of turning that thing off. if you guys add new features code in ways for people NOT to use it or turn it off. all features of the interface should have a on/off button in the system GUI manager. to me it is about as irritating as listening to an environmentilist tell me how move "day after tomorrow" is going to happen next week....
