Profession Entertainer / Dancer / Musician
- The minimum time required to watch an Entertainer before having a mind buff applied has been reduced from 2 minutes to 1 minute.
- Increased Entertainer/Dancer/Musician wound healing
- It now takes half as long to apply an Entertainer mind buff.
- It now takes a quarter of the time it used to take to heal Mind/Focus/Willpower wounds.
I am at work all night &curiousabout what I will be logging into later. Anyone have time to let me know if these changes are working right? After the last patch "broke" buffs temporarily....I am a bit nervous! ![]()
Thank you ![]()

I was able to give mind buffs this morning with problem.
(Was in a group did several at one time. All of my SEAs worked as well.)

Actually got a buff request from a guildie tonight. It worked just fine, and I delivered a full buff in less than 3 minutes I think. I figure the new minimum buff time must be under 2 minutes by now, but I didn't get him to stop watching fast enough.

Isn't thatthe minimum time the patron has to watch for a buff to be applied - not the minimum time to apply a full buff? I haven't buffed yet, but I'm assuming it now takes a little over a minute and a half to apply a 2 hour buff with 120 flos (like I want to dance that fast . . . . ).

For whatever reason, I had a lot of people ask me for buffs last night. There also happened to be a master musician there too. So, people were able to receive buffs from both of us at the same time, and I was able to do buffs in 2 minutes, whereas before I did it in 4.
The buff only failed once. And, I think that's because I kept telling the person he could stop watching, but he seemed to be afk. After a little bit, I just decided to go on to the next person rather than keep them waiting. So, I started my /setperf on someone else, and when the first person came back he said it didn't work. So, I think that's why. People are going to have to get used to actually staying there while I buff because I'm not gonna wait for someone's 30 minute toilet break.
Um, anyway...it worked on the second attempt on this guy. So, it seems to have worked.

When I was testing theshorter timerequirements on TC, I was able to deliver full duration buffs using our standard 5 flo/tick method in 1:30, although 1:20 would probably get it too. An extra 10 seconds to make sure, and the inevitable few extra seconds before they actually /stopwatch after saying they're good to go, and we had no problems. Except the one guy in testing who refused to believe that the full buff was ready that fast... I couldn't get him to /stopwatch for 3 more minutes.

There were two comments in the patch notes on buffing, Kirah. One was the the minimum watch/listen time to receive a buff had been cut in half from 2 minutes to 1 minute. The other comment was that buffing time was cut in half. Since the minimum time before for a max buff was something like 3 minutes 20 seconds, now it should be maybe 1 minute 40 seconds. I'm waiting to see who verifies the minimum time first.

I use a personalized variation of one of the non-recursive buff macros that were posted here awhile back. These macros do the 5 flo/pause 8 enough times that I used to need to run it 4 times to give a buff. I can now give a full buff by running it twice instead. So we only need to do 60 flourishes now.
I have tested it with both group and directed buffs. Everything works fine.
