Howdy guys, just wonderin what your entertainer droids are named, and if there is any significance behind you naming it that way!

Mine is named Bob and is an R2 unit, I have no clue why it is named Bob, I just see it fitting to have a droid named Bob!

I have 4 R3s with 6 playback tracks each. I had effect droids, but they tend to lag a lot of people so I don't use em.

Bass

Flourish

Lyric

Harmony

Bass and Flourish have bandfill tracks, Bass having the fast songs, Flourish the slow ones

Lyric and Harmony have nalargon/mandovial/traz depending on my mood and the needs of the band, Lyric on fast, Harmony on slow.

Mine are boring!

LIVE Lighting and LIVE Playback. Significance is only in that as founder and Guildmistress of theLIVE Entertainment guild of Ahazi, I get kinda saddled with 'official'presentation and such. Sure, I could name them clever and witty things, but we figureheads do have appearances to maintain.

Deila Karlossi , Blue Glowie of Dancers, and become more powerful than you could possibly imagine...

I have a mouse droid with 2 playback units. Her name is Calliope. A mechanical musical device, itseemed fitting.

"Incubus" is the name of my primary characters swiss army bot (it got two effect modules, data storage 6, item storage 6, clothing and armor crafting station and a combat module).

One of my characters on TC got a droid called "Sintin", it's just a pure astromech, though (basic R5 with Data Storage 3).

in my time i've owned 4 droids that i have given names to. heres the list:

#1 my first droid (EVER!) was an advanced r2 unit that i named BUZZER. he had 2 light effects, a 6 space storage unit, and a pretty decent combat module. during the(admittedly confused) days i dabbled as a pistoleeri would bring him along as backup. more than once ifound myselfincapped and my droid would roll up to my body and zap away at the bad guys until either i got up or he was disabled. the most loyal of all my droids.

#2 a pure light effects adv. r3named of GLITTER. i don't use him very often.

#3 my musical accompaniment droid, named ZOOMZOOM. since i've given up all but novice musician, i was sure to program him with western and ceremonial on the nalargon and bandfill. i'm still master entertainer, so i do still have the privilige of being able to play both those fine songs on my mandoviol.

#4 my most recent droid aquisition,a pure combat droid (since i am an imperial dancer, and sometimes have to be defended from the rebel bullies that prey upon those weaker then they) named BOOTY. he's more powerful than buzzer, but has the habit of storing himself when he starts to get banged around a bit too much. but hey, before he does he usually gives me enough time to burst run away!

I have an effects droid named Chiana. I've had/have other droids but haven't gotten around to naming them yet. I ended up dropping my musician skills before I had a chance to name my playback droid, for example.

Anyway, the significance is that I'm a Farscape fan. I don't like the idea of naming characters after characters in other universes. But, I think it's okay to put a little plug into them with your droid.

Btw, I also have a cupa mount named Rygel.

I have a 6 effectsR3 called Trickster, a med droid called Zeek,two storage "mouse" droids called Carpetbag and Satchel and a probot named Blair. My kaadu is called Tasker and my lesser sludge panther is called Prank.

I wonder if anyone (other than those few who already know) can see a pattern in several of my pet/droid names.

my (now sadly ex-)dancer still has her ent dorid, he's and adv r2 with all effects bar jawas and called spark (my be kaadu mount is caleld bolt and my 2 combat doirds for protecting me whne im sampling dna are jolt and shock)

I tend to give my pets very ODD or literal names. Ava has two droids and a handful of pets from when she was a CH (a profession I immensely enjoyed too). She has an effects droid which is named, erm, SexSlave.... and her clothing crafting station droid which is named ClothesHorse. ClothesHorse is my sidekick, I don't ever use my effects droid because of the lag it causes me but someone's ALWAYS asking for clothes, so I generally have ClothesHorse out all the time. Fuschia only has one droid, a medical droid. It's my pride and joy and usually gets a laugh. It's red and yellow and is named McDroid.

As for my other pets, Ava has a graul named MossMan, a mamien (those weird monkey things from Yavin) named UglyPrune - that's what they look like!!! - and a crystal snake named Glass.
