i know im supposed to kill some sith guys, ive been waiting almost 6 hours for them to show. when i go read my quest journal it says nothing in it, not completed quests or uncompleted quests. is that normal?

No, you should immediately call a CSR, and post about how the devs screwed you over. Make sure you post at least 10 times, and demand that SOE reply to your post.

There isn't anything in the journal about the siths attack. But it should give one entry in completed quests saying that you talked to the old man, no ?
And I heard that you got to wait about 24hours before the sith come. But this is just hearsay because the siths haven't visited me yet either...

the journal says nothing at all, and the show completed quests box is checked and ive tried unchecking to see if it does anything and nothing

Okay, I'll just stop rofling for a second. 
If you got visited by the old bugger, your quest journal should show one completed quest.

geez have some patience. everyone is insane to get this stuff and if they dont get attacked in 10 minutes they spam, whine, and moan about how the devs hate them

i didnt say anything about the devs or that they didnt come 10 minutes after i talked to the old man. i was scrolling through my chat and saw that it said i completed some quest and my crystal journal thing says nothing. thats my main concern is why it doesnt say anything

Please, think for yourself. You said the Old Man visited you. You say, you got the journal. You say, the completed quest does not show up and you are bugged. Now choose the appropiate reaction:
a.) Make a thread about it on the forums
b.) Write a ticket to the CSRs
c.) Eat a cheese sandwich

1. Yes make a post so i can see if this is supposed to happen or if its common and not a problem
2. if it isnt normal then make a ticket
