Just wondering, are any of you good at dancing in real life? I like to dance, but I just know I look ridiculous doing it.... 
So anyway, can any of you dance as well as your character?
So anyway, can any of you dance as well as your character? This is probably a stupid idea, but we should all make videos of ourselves dancing in real life and post them somewhere.

oh my goodness, I had the same idea a few weeks ago. I thought it would be hysterical if a group performed at FanFest or something But, no, I don't dance in real life.

Dont really know how good i am at dancing at the moment...But i joined ballet classes when i was 3 years old and stopped taking the classes when i was 16. I also took dancing lessons for disco, and the latino dances when i was 12-15. This is now almost 9 years ago, so im sure ive lost some of my rytmn

*chuckles* Actually... at one of our Talus Moon gatherings in Brighton last year... for a laugh a couple of us did a little exotic on a train station platform. Followed by two of us doing a little music flo routine *giggles*. A suitably embarrassing occassion.
As to the real question, not as flexible as I used to be... so I can't do all the moves my char can do, but I used to hold my own on a dance floor

/RaiseHand. Could probably still do most of the flourishes, except for perhaps some of the faster Poplock.

hehehe...well, no, it's not like I'm a professional dancer or anything, and I most certainly could not replicate a vast majority of the /flo's. However, I love dancing/clubbing. And, people have told me I'm a good dancer. And, I think really, one of the reasons I became a dancer in SWG is because I love dancing in real life.

I do ballroom dancing IRL. Been taking lessons for a few years now, and I enjoy social dancing as well as doing some competitions and showcases for fun. I do have videos from many of my performances, but I have no plans to post them. Nothing really like the in game dances though. Might be kinda fun if we could do a Corellian swing or a Moenian waltz or maybe even a Cornet quickstep.

Mhm..me too! And yeah..people tell me I'm a pretty good dancer. I honestly don't think I am particularly talented but I make up for it with enthusiasm. Everythingfrom clubbing to baladi..I absolutely love to move.I'm much better with music though. My guitars have taken me everywhere from seedy West Texas dives to a Segovia master class (definitely a major life moment). And I Love percussion!

But, if you don't dance, how are you going to earn the XP ... to learn to dance ... to gain the XP to ... /boggles
