Oh, long ago and far away I used to be a pretty good little dancer. Nothing professional, just clubbing and parties and everything from Scotish folk toline todirty dancing. Now I just danceabout the house when no one is around to see me . . .

it is! quite a workout too, I just have to do it more

as for the original question, probably not any more... did ballet when I was little, and was in show choir in HS. as long as noone brings up "dancing at fanfest" I'll be fine

You have to go pay a novice trainer first, silly.

Give me 100 credits and I'll hook you up. But to be fair, I have to tell you that I have no rhythm and, obviously, can't take you any further than the stumbling novice box.

Well then... guess the thread should have specified if unflo'd Basic counts as 'dancing in real life'...

I used to be a fairly good amature. I have done waltz, the charlston, the twist... and others that I can't call to mind right now. Not any more though. My knees are bad from too many slips on the ice and these days my feet get so swollen they hurt and I can't even wear socks. I think that this may be part of why I love having a Dancer in game so much.

Yes. Up until about 7 years ago dancer was my profession. I had to drop it for my house wife grind.

Why do people keep pleading my cantina?!

Anyways I'd be in the catergory of my in game repoitoire is better then my RL... interestingly I think more dancers dance in RL, then musicians play an instrument in RL... but I could be wrong.

Ah we can dance if we want to, we can leave your friends behind
Cause your friends don't dance and if they don't dance
Well they're no friends of mine

I can do most of the flos from the game. Although a lot of them I wouldn't want to do...
But no I have no formal dance training like some of the people here.(though I wish I had done that when I was younger)
but I've been told I'm a good dancer. All I know is I have the most fun doing M.J. and robot/break dance... mainly because you just can not take yourself serious when you do that. It's just sooo funny.

Ifreely admit toplaying a few instruments in RL, though I'm so horribly out of practice with them, I'd have to say I'm not a RL Master Musician....

Oh, and here's a pic of "my" pet dancing!(Click the smiley!)

I'm more of a musician IRL than a dancer. I do have excellent rythym, and some sense of balance and grace, but I can't seem to get past novice. I like clubbing, but liking to dance and being good at it are two different things. XD

Count me among those novices who haven't yet learned about flourishes, standin in the corner, doing basic.
