Uh, I think it would be cool.

We have FS Wound healing bonuses we can get by doing Artisan, Medic, or Combat Quests in the Village.

What are you looking for here? More bonuses? Quests? What?

If you mean Dancer/Padawan Template. Yeah, there are a few that might be cool. I tested them on TC2 when it was still a free for all. Dancer/Force Healing and/or Enhancement is pretty nifty.

Well, a pure entertainer can master musician, entertainer, and dancer and still have enough left for two full branches of ID and 3 boxes in another. For just 4 of those skill points you invest into ID, you can get an extra +20 wound healing for both musician and dancer. I can't see anything wrong with that at all beyond the fact that we have to pick up some medic first to unlock that branch =/ But, once unlocked you can just use dance/music xp to buy the boxes.

Plus, if you decide you really want to, you can just keep the medic and get some extra medic bonuses as well with that one line

Really, the FS stuff is great for just about any profession. And I don't mean because it gets you to Jedi Most of us have a few spare skill points left over that can't really go anywhere else anyway. These FS boxes provide a nice way to spend those remaining skill points to get something that will benefit you *shrug*

Given how quickly a master healsmindwounds, the relatively inexpensive availability of bio engineered clothing to enhance this by +25 if anyone really wanted, and the fact that most of the player population seems to prefer to use bots, I'd say it's not worth the effort.

That extra +20 to wound heal will cost 1,275,000 fs xp which can be converted from 12,750,000 dance or entertainment healing xp or any combination thereof, and that's after the quests and such. A +20 to dancing mind enhancement would really have been more useful and possibly worth the effort to get it.

It won't be practical on a live server, however. You need good saber skills in order to reduce the extreme pain of levelling, and the rest of your template will need to be combat oriented in order to protect yourself from the inevitable bounty hunter encounters and from what you have to kill in order to attain your goal. It would be an ungodly amount of work, and right now there's absolutely nothing that even infinitesimally redeems the utter tedium of the jedi grind, in order to get those healing and/or enhancement skills and then level up dancer for that desired template.

Not that I don't think it's a cool idea. Unfortunately, the powers that be decided thejedi of this virtuality are one-dimensional creaturesdescended from aone-dimensional order that had no need of councilors, peacemakers, sages, philosophers amongst their numbersand would seek their unity with the force through the bloodshed of innocents.

Well, that depends on your leveling style. I actually did level with Healing on Panthu TC and no LS during the very first phase of testing on TC2 before they made me a Knight. I also did it with LS and just invested in Healing and Enhancement on an Alt. LS certainly is the best way to level Padawan, but if you are just playing through the experience, Healing is doable even with out LS.

I took months to Master Dancer the first time (and only time on Panthu SS, I just never dropped it), I think this would be very much like that. You would need to be very smart about visibility. *shrug* Once you get past the Padawan trials though, you could technically drop all combat skills.

I can think of literally dozens of fun role-playing stories that include a FS or Jedi Dancer. I think it would be awesome.

Nothing says you can't learn some lightsaber to level then drop it when you are done to pick back up whatever dancer you might have to surrender along the way

Having a TKA character on TC, one of the things I've thought about was picking up some lightsaber, mastering defender and force armor, then dropping lightsaber and remastering TKA. You can be TKM, Master defender, 0040 enhancer, and still have enough for novice medic or scout. It would be a fun combo

Remember, not all of us want Jedi, and many of us don't even want to be Jedi knights, but there are tons of possibilities for dabbling to enhance our regular professions.

I haven't done any of the testing, so maybe someone who has can answer. The medic quest that we will need to do, what does it entail? Is it basically just "heal xxxx number of people?" Or do you have to actually craft. In other words, does part of the quest say specifically you must craft such and such or do such and such beyond just the act of healing? If it's just healing, it seems simple enough that they could simply add a Cantina to the village instead of making up a whole new quest. Or is there more to it?

Xp was removed from healing and enhancer skills quite a while ago in order to do away with afk exploits.
