Without giving away too much information, can someone tell me if the 'lighting effects', 'spotlight', and 'smoke bomb' skills do just what they sound like they do? I don't wanna know too much, but I don't wanna get my hopes up if they are just some lame skills with no visual effects!!! 
I should be getting my novice dance title tonight! Woo hoo!

They do provide visual effects. I won't ruin the surprise, but you won't be dissapointed!

Heh, nice! I'm hoping to reach Dance IV & Ent Healing IV tonight as well. =) I need something like 20K for Dance IV. Oh another thing, the dance you get with Dance IV (formal),is IMHO, one of, if not the best, dance. It's my current favorite anyway. I've never seen exotic though, so my favorite might change!

More great news Skywarp, thanks! The fact that I have a great dance coming up is especially good news since Footloose SUCKS so **edit** bad... I've been calling itthe Frankenstein dance. hehe OMG, I am almost embarassed while I'm dancing right now, but it gives the best xp so I keep using it.

Yeah, footloose is deifnitely very jittery! LOL. I think it's my least favorite. I really like popular too, which comes up in the Dancer tree now!

All of the effects are very cool ... if very short lasting.
Most are shared with musicians but the /smokebomb and /dazzle are unique to dancers.

If I decide to get some skills from the musician tree, do I need to get their effects line to use them while I'm playing an instrument, or do the dance ones work in either situation? I just realized that I can specialize dance, image design, and part of music so I guess that's what I'm doing... after I'm a master dancer of course!

Effects are nice but way to short for the cost.
Popular is the best dance. Formal is a close second.

You need to learn them in both to use both but if you only dance you only need to learn the dance effects.

Is the ormal dance the one that looks like ballet? I was transfixed by a Beta entertainer doing that! (I told her she should be in the Coronet Ballet, but she didn't reply.)

Yes its worth everything I put into it. I'm bouncing back and forth between techniques and knowledge right now. Anyone actually see dancers wound healing working? What's it supposed to do?

The dancer's wound healing just increses the rate that you heal someone's mind related wounds while they are watching you.
