Thread: Regarding Tipping
Will you people please stop posting in all the other forums about how we should all tip you????? Jebus!
You act like its a real burden to go afk, never endanger yourself, and just get exp. Aside from the fact that I have no respect for you for chosing dancer as your most assuredly a self centered giddy **edit** you then spam how its our DUTY to tip you. Then you fill the cantina up with your shallow flirts and other meaningless crap. So in conclusion **edit** about tipping
I greet and talk to my guys. I get to know them. I listen to their stories, their victories, their defeats. I learn WHO and WHAT they are as individuals, as people. I try to become a part of their life that they can always count on to be there when needed.
When they are down I encourage them. When they succeed I cheer them on and share their happiness. I don't Flirt with my guys other than as part of my normal personality. And I don't try to pretend to be something other than what I am. I let them know me as I expect to know them.
more proof how dancer draws the self involved women who like to have control over men. if they weren't nerds they would be strippers at your local cheesy stripbar

Ah just because someone takes a non confrontational direction in their character development they should Shut the heck up and just do their duty and heal you... Wow nice person glad I don't know you in real life cause if I was a doctor I would let you bleed on the table.
95% of the Dancers are NOT afk despite what morons like you want to use and an excuse not to compensate for being healed. Its not our DUTY to heal you either. Please what server are you on and whats your name so we can all stop dancing and playing when you come in. 
Hmm, I can only image the way you play the game based on your post, and I pretty much have even less respect for you than you have for us, trust me.
Please tell me, how are you endangering your life by going out and fighting? It is a f-ing game, you don't really die when you "die" in the game, are we supposed to respect your daring and boldness?
Would you rather we stopped dancing? Would you like to have 1 dancer/musician sitting quietly in the corner of each cantina so you can sit there all night and mend your freakin wounds? Just let us know what server/city you play in and we'll be MORE THAN HAPPY to arrange it immediately.

I wanted to be the one to ask him what server and planet so that --I-- could be the one to tell him we won't dance for him. But no. You had to do it first.

That is probably why tailors can make slave girl outfits, and why we get an "exotic" dance at higher levels, so we can earn our clients' deepest respect and learn about their ups and downs in their fragile lives!! Look, I talk to the folks that come in, but it is NOT my position as a DANCER to"become a part of their life that they can always count on to be there when needed." WHO HAS THE BIG HEAD?!?! I think it is you Sister... thinking that you are some special part of these guys' lives because you DANCE for them.

Hijo, don't use slave dancers as any sort of comparison to what the rest of us are, thats just dumb. Unless your roleplaying a slave that is, in which case that would fit just fine. Far as being special for talking to them, yeah maybe I'd consider that a bit silly too and agree with you to some degree, but what we do is a respectful profession, least what some of us do. You got your tramps and such of course but many of us are just Entertainers there to make other people's gaming experience more enjoyable and have fun while we're at it.
I have a lot of regular customers and am the local favorite in the Cantina where I play, I get to know some of them fairly well but I dont discuss their life dreams or anything like that other girl. Just small talk mostly, being friendly which any good dancer will do. I'm more the favorite for being goofy and fun, and the fact I have the highest dance skill in town doesn't hurt either.
Far as the original poster goes... Please, get over yourself moron. Here is a clue for you, YOU do NOT get exp for dancing while your AFK you idiot, nor do most dancers go AFK while dancing. And we're there providing a service and helping your sorry ass. Nice to know thats appreciated when we're helping you. If everyone that came in or even 20% of the people that came into the cantina where as big of morons as you are then most of us would quit the profession. Then who's going to heal your sorry ass? Please bud, get a clue.
Please don't misunderstand me, I do not do the grandma panties dance and I don't RP a **edit**. I also have made a lot of friends with the people that come in regularly, so I obviously do talk to them very much.
Your average Joe that comes in there though is only there because they have to do so. This is the bulk of people in the cantina, and they really don't want a dancer that is gonna analyze their hopes and dreams and ask them about their mother. I generally greet them on the way in, and when I see them get up I tell them to be safe and come back again. Frequently by not talking to them too much I tend to get more tips from them than do the dancers that pour themselves all over the guys, verbally or physically.
Overall though, even though I have some good conversations, lots of the people that come in there actually do enjoy the music and dancing if you have it set up well. I've seen a lot of cantinas that were a big mosh pit of dancers with musicians in a big clump behind them. Yea, what a show!
Anyway, yea... original poster... heh
Don't you wish these guys would give their character name, locatoin, and server so we can make sure they get the elite treatment they deserve?

Still can't say who and where you are can you?
