Thread: Mind buff bug?
I buffed a guildie last night, shortly afterward he died and asked me to buff him again. After I rebuffed him and he typed /stopwatch, he did not get the buff.
I know doctor buffs were not resetting after death recently, has anyone noticed this with the mind buff?
Happened to me today too. They didn't get the passive nor the active buffs I was trying to give them when they came back after dying.

I've had it happen a couple times as well and we are beginning to believe it has to with dying and then cloning. Not 100%. Next time I'm going to try having him log out and back before I buff him after cloning and see what happens...

This happened to me last night. He had dueled to reset buffs, doctors buffs took, mine didn't. I did a /setperform, but was wondering.... it's ok to target someone else to /smile as they walk in etc...isn't it? I've done this before without any problems, just want to make sure that that wasn't the cause.
I have targeted other players for greetings and /ttells after using /setperform on the player who I am buffing and have had no problem with the buff sticking on them, even though they did not remain my target.
Just a problem re-buffing players after a death ![]()
is it just me or has anyone noticed favortism leaning towards the rebels concering things as of late?::Snicker::
I've seen xp for mind buffing today.. Didn't check if they actually got it though as it was just another entertainer taking a break.
Hmm.. haven't heard anything about this being done so I can only assume its one of the many wonderful problems they seem to keep running into while adjusting the TEF system. Let me know if this problem stays and I'll try and find otu what the deal is.

OK another odd thing I just noticed this weekend.
You can't buff someone who is overt and of a different faction than you. (Factions include neutral, so if you're neutral you can't buff overt rebs OR imps.)
I figure maybe someone can learn from my blonde moment. *smile*
