Whats to say besides I'm loving it? Ahh, suppose I could give you examples to give you an idea just how cool this really is.

I was dancing the other night with a friend on Test Center, (Love ya Pappi!) we're both Twileks, and we where both doing the same dances together using /bandflourishes together. We changed dances some, but spent the vast majority of our time doing exotic together. We danced for easily over 2 hours together, even doing some light shows from technique's line, (not many tho) and a moderate amount of flourishes and in all the time we danced together neither of us ever ran out of action. (I don't think I even got below half)

A person working on medic exp stopped by so we did more light shows to burn it a little faster but otherwise I could of probably danced all night without ever having to sit once even without having a medic around or using any buffs.

Basically, unless your non stop flourishing or using lots of lights, you can groove on for hours if your stats allow for it. (high enough quickness/stamina) Also this makes it really easy to apply our buffs without running out of action before we're done with it.

So go get yourself a few extra pairs of dancing shoes because you'll be wearing them out a lot faster from now on.

You may have already answered this, but can we assume this is going live with the next patch, presumed to be delivered this week sometime?

Thanks!

And when is this patch coming???

And is this going to make it so we can buff people without having to get healed? That'll be nice...

Raven, just for comparison's sake, what are your action and quickness?

I have a human dancer with just under 900 stam/qui and even with the current live system can do exotic2 with flourishes every 10 sec (and the occasional effect) indefinately. Does this mean I can get some stats back so I can practice ID without getting a headache?

::mutters about lucky humans and their freekish secondary stats:: Ya know, if humans could have stats like that when I made my character I probably would of made a darn human, hehe. To answer your question tho, I can't look but I think I have 750 Quickness and 400 stamina. Might be 700 quickness 450 stamina, I can't remember. But its in that ballpark and its the max for each of those stats a Twi'lek can have.

Are humans supposed to be able to get secondaries that high or is that a bug? I'm taunted a lot by humans who have secondary stats higher than I can dream of as they dance for so long and I need to stop to rest several times. (It's just IC stuff and in good fun, but still it's annoying that the race known for it's entertainers can be so easily outdanced by humans)

Yes it was an unintended feature (bug.)

Ravenmist, do you know if the human secondary stat bug will be fixed in this new patch?

Hmm, nevermind, the patch is going in as I'm typing, so I'll just find out when Naritus comes back online.

i looooove the new action cost change

i had a healing session yesterday, and got a box in dancer... i just asked kath to put a dancer trainer outside the cantina and trained for it. almost to next box again though, would love to have you there now i can pretty much dance indefinitely, which is very cool no missing healing xp because i'm burning thru my action.

(i also paid maintainance on the theatre, in case you don't have time to log on)

I hate to be the fly in the ointment, but I don't like this change. Not only can we nowdance forever, even longer then musicians can play wich Iahrdly find fair. It makes exotic a comon dance wich in the futire will acually be a slight nerf to us. I thought the old costs where perfect esecialy with food being fixed now and would like it put back the way it was. Doc's will be less likely to want to come visit us now and frankly thats been 90% of our clients. I realize its seems like a good change and Im in the monority, but I dont like it.
