Thread: Ask Devs questions, be seen, be heard!
Ok guys. We aren't Healers according to Dev communication. Entertainer Healing has always been something of a misnomer apparently since it isn't supposed to have anything to do with a traditional RPG Healer role. You can disagree with this, you can try to talk the Devs out of it, but whatever, this is and has been the word from above. It looks like the CU changes will be coming in and enforcing this even more. It's time to stop the community denial and deal with it.
So, what are we if not Healers? What do things like "Entertainers are meant to be Social not Functional like Doctors" really mean? Does it mean that we are entitled to some kind of special roles dealing with player events for our Ent SP investment? Should we be gaining some access to some social enhancements that only we can "bring to a party" as Ents? Should we be given some special privileges or advancements in event tools... perks for entertainers one might say?
Or should we be asking for purely Performance based enhancements? Things like better ways to build Dances and Songs and perform them with others?
Where do we fit? What can we ask for? Will the Devs talk to us about these things? Please, get out there and post!

these new event planners in hotels ae great i lvoe the stuff but what if we made the entertainers the vent planners were losing mind wound healing right why not replace it with something like event coordnater you wanna hold an event you wanna have al lthose cool perk things well you have to hire an event coordinater to do it alot of dancers and musicions already run party planning buisnes this will jsut make it better. im not saying make us crafters and we gotta make the stuff but were like the go between people you ocme ot us and the higher level we are the better stuff we can get for you. i dunno just a thought thatcame to me anyone wanna take it and translate it to english and post it in one of pex's threads feel free i tend not to psot in them because im dyslexic and my typing loosk like that of a 3rd grader
That's awesome! Go post that for Pex in the Events forum, I don't know that he'd go for it but that's where this kind of stuff is going to have to be asked.
If we are going to be given a special role tied to Events, we're going to have to go through Pex and that forum. It's not something we can do in here and through our Corrs (I promise, it's been tried).
