Thread: Force Sensitive Dancers
On my old server I was able to learn skills from the senses tree from dancing xp (pre CU). I have just started a new character on a new server and just got glowy, so I read up on post CU changes to the village. Am I correct in understanding that the senses tree now requires medical skills to unlock?
Is my extra xp only good for learning theatrical these days?
Any info on this would be marvellous
The senses branches have always required medical skill to unlock (the one that has a pre-req..Persuasion, I believe). But dance xp can still be converted to fs xp for senses.
There may be another branch with a medical pre-req. I've taken one of my dancers to the village but really haven't pursued it beyond getting her one free unlock. Haven't even bothered to do that much with my other fs chars.

Persuasion and Healing both Require some Medic, Doctor or BE skills because they both involve some kind of healing for the Quest
Survey and luck both requireNovice Artisan because you need to servey for resources

I have almost 750k in Senses XP all from dancing and entertainer healing XP traded in. You can use that in any of the 4 branches once you unlock them. To unlock the branches however, you will have to do either medical stuff or surveying. I've gotten Novice Artisan so that I can unlock Luck. Once I unlock it I will be able to train in the first two, and maybe three, boxes right away because of all the dancing XP that I turned in for Senses XP conversion.

Yes. That sounds like an excellent idea. After all, why should the dancers be able to do anything beyond mastering their profession. Totally ridiculous. Absolutely.

They do a lot that makes no sense to anyone. Nobody has yet been able to explain to me a good reason for completely removing the entertainers ability to put their experience towards FS, however.
Why?
Because, believe it or not, there ARE entertainers who are not bots, are not AFK grinders, and are not temporarily dancer just for an easy grind, who use that exp for conversion. Why, again, should the people who use it properly be punished just because a bunch of people are poons?
So the mods are pointless at this time. That doesn't mean my dancer should be told "Sorry, you can be a dancer, but you won't be good for ANYTHING now, instead of just being no use to the general population".
They should definatly NOT remove us from the FS conversion, that would be TOTALLY unfair to those of us who do it the right way.

I have it from a reliable source that the mod given in the "healing" FS senses tree (i.e. our tree) is now Dance Enhancement and Music Enhancement instead of the previous Wound Healing.
I'm not FS on TC but I asked frootee and that's what he told me it was!!
