Thread: Force Sensitive Dancers
Chii, the voice of reason here.
I hate that instead of actually fixing things, the devs tend to "punish" the people that are doing it right because they have to curb the people who are exploiting the situation.
I mean, there are degrees of negative effects. For example, mind buffing was extremely harmful for us and I'm not upset they removed it. (Personally I would have rather they made it non-afk'able, but that didn't happen). But, the afk grinding in public cantinas...yeah, it sucks, but honestly, there are those of us who want to be included in game content without having to totally ruin our template. If you removed this conversion, then there'd be even more entertainers who wouldn't experience content because they wouldn't want to ruin their template in the process. We fought to get us in there in the first place, I would like to think people can stop being bitter for once, and stop calling for nerfing us further, taking us out of FS, removing all our skill points, etc, etc. I mean, if you are THAT unsatisfied with dancing, then drop the profession. But, for goodness sake, stop advocating things that punish the rest of us. You're doing us a huge disservice, and being selfish to boot. I mean, really, are people THAT upset, that they get some sense of satisfaction from making their fellow real atk entertainers get punished because of the people that don't belong in our profession?
Honestly, it's a much better thing to try to end the exploitation than call for your fellow entertainers to be left out. Again.

Strange - why wouldn't the most sensual characters of all be able to be force sensitive? It makes far more sense to make artisans unable to be force sensitive than entertainers...
It makes far more sense that the senseless butchering of literally thousands of animals by combatants for nothing other than the betterment of one's own self would be unable to become force sensitive. At least artisans spend their time creating in order to better the lives of others.
