What happened to "Fixed drifting dances like Lyrical, Formal and Theatrical"?
The new dances are drifting as well, and without that fix they're just giving us 4 new dances that noone will use AGAIN!

I guess they decided we're not worth the effort.
I'm officially cynical.

To be fair, those were "In Development" before, and not "In Testing." They may still be working on it, for all we know.

Well, my guess would be that the songs and dances were finished already, but that Bob the Plumber, who's in charge of rolling out entertainer content, was somewhat out of his depth in fixing the broken base dances...

Without working base dances this content is broken, period.

By "drift," are we meaning the natural movement of travelling dances, or incorrect animation and missing frames? I'm going on TC soon to see for myself.

Yeah, because giving them feedback last time they shipped a dance with this problem really made a difference, huh? I'll say what everyone else is thinking, because I really don't care anymore and I don't like to mince words.
If they don't already know what's wrong with the "content" they just put on Test Center without us spelling it out for them in threads like this, then they need to take their heads out of their collective asses.
God I'm so bitchy today.

The animation of the dances is not being seen by any client but the person using the dance. Your character will appear to walk around in small circles rather than any kind of dance. These aren't supposed to be exciting new walking animations, they are supposed to be dances.

Then pray tell why did they ever claim that the dances are fixed?
Madame is going to TC for the first time in a year. Naturally I will be stuck in downloading for awhile, but this is something that needs to be /bug reported from as many different sources as possible.

It's really not going to matter. /Bug, post in the feedback thread, PM the devs, post in the Corre forums, whatever. I guarantee it gets pushed to live in a broken format, whether they've decided to work on the base dance issues or not. If they're working on them still, they won't be out with the dances in the next hotfix/publish/mini-publish. IF they manage to fix them, they'll probably push the fix out later as another.....*drumroll please*......
EXCITING ENTERTAINER ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

For what it's worth, they never claimed that they had actually fixed the broken dances yet, only that work on the fix was in development. And it's entirely possible that the dev(s) or even the team working on the fix for it is completely separate from the dev(s) or team that did the work to get the newer dances ready to be added.
I imagine someone is in fact working on the problem, but all speculation on our part has always noted that it's probably a difficult problem to solve. And it may be the case that it'll be added to this publish in the following days - the last few publishes have had stuff added to them over the space of several days while they were on TestCenter.
Anyways, I don't mean to try to say "everything's ok with the new dances," because it's absolutely right that until they fix the brokenness, they're close to useless - only trying to make sure the feedback comes from the right context - i.e. not "you said you had this fixed, why did you lie?" but rather "you said you were working on a fix - this fix is crucial to the new dances even being worthwhile". (Or something like that
).
I really really do hope that they have a fix for it coming soon, I want to see people dancing all the travelling dances, I like them a lot.
