I like it better when we're happy too, but whoever keeps one starring Eaca needs to knock it off.
Post something, be useful. Stop using these lame one star attacks.

Hello Folks,
Here are upcoming fixes/additions heading your way! These should be hitting Test Center in the next few days =)
- 2 new songs (Starwars4 and Funk) and 4 new dances (Tumble, Tumble2, Breakdance, and Breakdance2) added to the Dancer and Musician skill tree.
- Dances that move around the floor will animate properly to observers.
- Removal of the timers for Body and Cosmetic changes for Image Designers (this is done in preparation for the Combat Upgrade)
- Removal of falling mistakes when dancing
- Image Designer points will be reduced by 16 skill points so that the ability to master dancer, musician and image designer can be obtained.
- The 15 second delay between stopping one performance and starting a new one will be removed for dancers and musicians.
It's a good start. But I think Tiggs forgot a bullet so let me fix that here:
- Afk entertaining will no longer be possible
Glad I could help clear up that little oversight.
cheer,
Ikewe

The broken dances being fixed I think is a really REALLY big step. AFK is of course the number one biggest issue. But in my list the broken dances is a close #2 or #3. Lyrical... Theatrical... heck, even Formal. I can't wait. Dreaming dreams. When the ability to AFK dance and play music is removed I hope it happens when a lot of other big monster changes come in. Like with the GCW revamp or something. Something to split the focus of the power-gamers so that they have somethiing to distract them from flinging hate. If that HAD been put in this patch that whole thread would be a flaming wreck, and our ability to enjoy these changes like they deserve would be gone.
I do hope they do something about it soon though. One of the very basic enjoyments of a game like this is gaining levels. Its why they have levels. When those levels can be gained more efficiently by someone who does not even want to be playing it takes a very basic part of the fun out of the game. And when it is gone maybe they can finally reduce the xp requirements to reasonalble levels!! Without fixing those issues a lot of the new people who take up the profesion, attracted by these changes, will leave in frustration. So, sooner than Soon(tm) please!

I hope this is NOT the “it” however I do have to say I am very pleased with the additions and changed if and only IF this is just a first step.
If this is “IT” then I would be very disappointed, because it would be like slapping a pretty band-aid on an ugly wound, which need stitching.
All this will make our profession prettier, but it will not solve the number 1 problem of people leaving/quitting and if the Devs think it will then they truly need to stop smoking whatever it is they are smoking, hmm or better yet.. they need to start sharing.
I’ll try to be positive and believe this is only the step-1

Exactly.
One thing at a time. They obviously hear us and are working to appease us. I applaud the changes and am delighted to see them...and a little excited. That there are changes instead of the continued blank stare indicates that we are not as ignored as some would have us believe.
One thing at a time. I am anti-bot, just like the rest of you, and I believe the bot days are numbered, but I have seen great things coming from behind the scenes and into the light in the past few months. I will continue to hold out hope that the bots will go the way of the dodo bird. In the meantime though, I plan to enjoy the game and the new changes.
Maybe I am being overly optimistic, I suppose I could be seen that way. I just prefer to enjoy what I DO have while I have it and not let the negative get me down. I see these changes asa step in the right direction, I applaud them, and I will enjoy them, and I will hold out hope that they are just a step on the path and not the arrival at a destination. I look forward to future changes and pray bot removal is one of them.

I'm pretty sure this is "IT" and I disagree with the bandaid on wound needing stitches, this is more like candy for a brain hemorage. For all the hype this, to me at least, who wants to be somewhat useful in the game world with my entertainer skills, is the worst update ever.

Eaca, please. The world is not ending. They've given us MUCH NEEDED time and attention, and all you can do is piss and moan about it? That disappoints me far more than any publish could.
I realize that we've gotten so used to disappointment that we've become jaded and cynical, but please open your eyes and realize that this is a GOOD THING. Every single thing on that item list made me dance for joy.

- 2 new songs (Starwars4 and Funk) and 4 new dances (Tumble, Tumble2, Breakdance, and Breakdance2) added to the Dancer and Musician skill tree.
New dances? Hell yes!!! - Dances that move around the floor will animate properly to observers.
Broken base dances fixed? HELL YES!!! - Removal of the timers for Body and Cosmetic changes for Image Designers (this is done in preparation for the Combat Upgrade)
Not an ID, but I don't see anything wrong with that. - Removal of falling mistakes when dancing
Falling removed? HELL YES!!!!
- Image Designer points will be reduced by 16 skill points so that the ability to master dancer, musician and image designer can be obtained.
Doesn't so a thing for me. - The 15 second delay between stopping one performance and starting a new one will be removed for dancers and musicians.
WOOOOOO!!!!!!
How can you be bitter with these changes and fixes? This isn't the entertainer revamp this is a fix being patched in with the next publish (she said it's going on test this week FFS!)
