Can we get a refund for our skill point investment?

4 boxes of EH in entertainer and 4 boxes of skill in dancer for a total refund of 28 skillpoints please.

At this point there appears to still be BF and mind buffing which may still yield Ent Healing XP, but other than that, I'd say it's part of that "tweaking" they admitted they'll need to do.

And what about those of us with the Heightened Senses Healing branch? What are the chances they'll give us the option to give it up and give us a free unlock ofa different branch since Healing will contain no skills that my character can use?

Since they already said that respecs won't include Force Sensitive skills, it doesn't look good.

The profession trees for Entertainers, Musicians, Dancers and Image Designers will be affected by the Combat Upgrade, and will likely need some profession tweaking because of the changes with wounds, stat migration and buffs to the mind. We will make adjustments to entertainers by creating some long lasting, minor buffs for combat professions.

Feel free to read into that... Yes it does mean what it says. Notice the word "creating"... wait for it... Ahh yes that lightbuld... YES that is what that means.

It appears clearly to me that our only tie into the game will be BF in some form. And we all know how BF really messed with people... Ohh wait it's pretty much ignored as it takes a crap load of it to really mess with you.

At least till they get around to "creating" some form of minor buffs.

Actually, in group PvP my guild has started using fatigue to win battles.Using my high wound 'zerker I can hand you over90 BF a minute. We'vetaken to going out of our way to hand a LOAD of bf to docs, CMs & anyone that seems to use heals a bit more than we'd like. With 3 rifleman using area attacks to hammer on BF for 60 seconds, we can basicly shut down all of the enemies healing in an entire area. You'd be surprised how fastthe tide of a battle turns whenthe BF on their tanks hits 250.

BF also seems to multiply the effect of dots. When our CM starts stacking thechems after we lay out the BF, peoples hams start falling real fast and their healers can't keep up through the BF.

A load of BF is also good for slowing down the zerg swarms. They either get to spend some quality time with an entertainer or 2 before they can re-buff, or return to the fight with understrenght buffs on top of a full stomache.

Panthu let me make sure I understand. We will hardly be needed at all. We MIGHT be needed by an individual to get "happy" and get a small boost. We might be able to give a small buff that will have little affect, from the sound of it far less affect than food and drink. The plan is to not make us needed for combat preparation and barely needed post combat. All this and you are crossing your fingers it will finally tell us where we fit? The signal it sends to me is we don't fit, we aren't needed, and we might get a bone just to shut us up. How in the heck do you find this a good thing? I'm glad you are positive and all but there is a point at which if we don't fight, whether it makes a change or not, they won't worry about us. Agreeing with everything they are doing and trying to put a positive spin on it for us here on the boards is not what I, for one, am hoping to see from the people who have contact with our devs.

The only way they can remotely make this viable as a profession is to eliminate profession dancer, musician, and ID and fit all three down into entertainer. Then, make that pathetic buff possible at master entertainer. Oh and the fourth branch heals BF since that seems to be what we'll be... BF healer profession. Save me 29 points, give me music to go with dance and some id skills, and I'll consider keeping it. In other news, did anyone notice BH requirements went down again? At this rate, ANYONE will be a BH. I find the underlying message this:Revamp is pro combat and entertainer is now a useless profession. I feel like I should be doing magic tricks now at a children's party.

Elwyn, you are confused and you need to cut me some slack. I don't know the arrangement other Glowies have with their Corrs, but I stepped into the background day one when Deila came in. She is a great Corr and I have trusted her with that from the second she got the title. The only contact I have left has only been used after I've talked to Deila and gotten her clearance first or at her prompting.

Now, what I say out here has always been my own opinion. It hasn't really changed much from the time before I was ever a Corr. I just know a little more now. I will always be happy for any design change that allows Dancer to make more sense and be in a better position to ask for updates and fixes. Whether the Devs want us to be Healers, Fluff, or Bards, I want us to be able to do it well and have a commitment from the Dev team for our design.

If they can give Ents a better design and stick by it, awesome. Heck yeah I'll be happy about that.

We were never supposed to have such a large role in Combat success. We were only ever supposed to have a minor boost togive people. That's what Mind Buffing was supposed to be. It didn't turn out that way because combat ended up being a battle of the blues. I brought this up in here many many times when I was the DC. I pointed out that when they changed the way blues worked and fixed the combat system, we would be moving to the passive limited role we were intended to have.

I asked if people wanted to fight for a more active role instead. See? I did fight. I took every single response and took it back to the Devs. I'm not the Dancer Corr now though. I knew the CU was coming. I knew changes for Ents were coming. I decided someone else was better suited to handle that phase of our development that could go in to work with the Devs with a fresh out look. I stepped down. Deila came in. End of story.

Panthu you still have access and contacts we don't. You've always been a very positive person and thats good but the last week you have been a cheerleader for the changes unwilling to see any negative at all in them. You've been such a cheerleader as to recommend we accept the even more damaging movement handling that was on test till yesterday and hope it gets fixed after live. Now if you really feel they are that positive I have to ask how. So what that you can be a pure ent now and have all 4 masteries since you have absolutely nothing to sell after the CU. How are you going to acquire any credits for a wardrobe, house, or even shuttle expense? Are pure ents supposed to just stay in the cantina where their new toon spawns and never move again?

Then there are the mixed templates like mine. I enjoy both PvE and entertaining. With the requirement for an additional tree in brawler I will have a very hard time keeping master ent and master musician so now I'm nerfed because I either I can't play all instruments and songs or I can't master a combat profession. I enjoy playing them all. They are nerfing all the healing classes so there is no source of income and no significant need. Just exactly what are people supposed to do if they don't want to have a combat skill? I don't know about you but I didn't buy Planetside and these changes are clearly turning this into an FPS. So the dancers will be able to just dance with no worries or concerns about the combat professions, they just won't be able to amass enough money to get out of those desert crawlers.
