Thread: In Theed Cantina, sunday night...
Check it out. here is what Theed looked like for about an hour and a half during prime time on Sunday night on the Naritus server. Notice all the crafters asking for buffs!
Theed cantina! Social hub of the galaxy!
Ahem.
EDIT: Oh right. The blue twi'lek playing the nalargon is Dejah (my character).

Theed cantina on Chim is the opposite, busy and bustling. Unless of course there is an event going on, but generally it has been busier than of late.
Ipana if you are in Bestine on your own, just shout out in the Ent channel. Sometimes it's nice to have a change and if I'm not busy with guild stuff, I'll come and join you.

wow and I thought Bestine on chimaera was empty. I hope it got better for you later or you'll end up like me crazy and talking to myself most nights
I chatted with people in my guild over guild chat. One guild member felt sorry for me and came to get a general insp buff and listen to one of my songs for 5 minutes. That was it.
This is why I don't play SWG much anymore. There's never anyone around to entertain with, or for... and since all I have left is an entertainer (I don't like the CU combat system so I cancelled my combat account), I'm starting to ask (as I did when the CU combat system was boring me into logging out 10 minutes after I logged in) what I'm bothering to pay for anymore. And at this point I'm not sure I can continue to justify the expenditure (though it's not a financial strain at all).

I assume you are in the US? Might be an idea to create a toon on a more populated server and get to know some new people. Chimaera is still quite a busy server and there are always plenty of people around in the evenings and at the weekends (UK times). Although it is quite an effort to drag them away from Dant MO, which is the favoured grinding group meet point.
lol No I live in Newcastle EnglandBestine is just empty although it has been getting a little better of late I guess I just miss the days when it was realy alive full of ents all dancing and playing together
I am the only one left from then
most people either canceled or used respec to go combat. Besides I couldn't leave chim I have my town and guild to run and have made alot of good friends there
Sorry, I was replying to the OP, should have made that clear.

Theed used to be packed on our server as was Coro. Even after the CU hit we could get people into Theed but with the removal of BF when the combat types get tired of fighting, they just log instead of coming into the cantina to unwind and heal. LOL, I've had several combat types say to me that they miss BF since they no longer have a reason to come to the cantinas. I remind them that they can come anyway but if it's not there to remind them (BF that is) they just forget and log.
MO is almost 100% AFK 'tainer and ME is about 90% AFK. We do work hard at providing entertainment for those who come into the cantina(s), not just buff services.

What and grind my way to the top of dancer and musician again? No thanks.
The only thing I stay in this game for is my guild, which is exclusively on Naritus. Without them, I'd have cancelled long ago. I have no desire or urge to change servers, and I sure as hell don't feel like starting a noob character again at this point.

Yup, this is our server. ME had 3 ATK (Cindal and I being two of the three) people and about 7 AFKers last night. MO is 100% AFK. Dath science usually has a few AFK. All other cantinas are empty of both entertainers and patrons. You can say, "Well go try performing at an empty one." That is my point. I was in Theed, with my title up and registered, and only one person -- a guild mate who took pity on me after I grumbled about it on guild chat -- came to see me.
My guild is great. I think they realize that my entire game has been shattered, and I think they are starting to worry (justifiably, because I am getting closer and closer to it) that I might just give up and quit. After all, I play an entertainer to ENTERTAIN. That implies an audience and some other entertainers. If those don't exist, there's kind of no point to playing the character anymore.
And that is my point in posting that picture of Theed empty. How exactly is one supposed to be an entertainer for an empty room?
