Dancer Archive

I'm not a dancer or entertainer, but I think some kind of fame would be neat. Like a searchable field, so I can see who are the best dancers in the galaxy and if I am feeling adventurous I could go travel to see them.

I am sure that K'vera would love to see her name in lights... she wants to be famous you know

I like this idea a lot.It would be great to see a dancer running by with NPC fans chasing after.

The whole problem is that there is nothing beneficial in any of the lines for the dancer at all. Only at Master Dancer do you get some bonuses to Melee and Range defense.

They need to tie in things like Fame to the dancing and musician trees so that the more people that watch you or a group you are inthe more fame points you get (similar to UXP for tailors). Fame points can then either be turned in to get various perks, or it can be a static trait which would influence NPCs.

A Master Musician or Dancer with high fame would therefore end up with better prices at the Bazaar terminals, special missions (gigs) which pay VERY well, various NPC groupies (roadies?) who can be used to follower the entertainer or bodyguard the entertainer.

Another high Fame perk might be allowing them to insert their name into a console outside a Cantina and then have their name and character portrait show up in a Marquee outside the Cantina to advertise that they are playing or dancing there.

This is a really neat idea! I'd be happy to be one of K'vera's "and the rest of the Dearic dancers". =)

As I am a diva, I would never dance in a cantina with someone else's name in lights. hehe

This would be neat.

I know on Naritus, my small group of entertainer friends (dancers and musicians) are pretty well known in Coronet, and usually by mid-evening, it's pretty hopping in the Cantina.

I know a few times, I've had people come just to see me, or one of my friends perform, and the rest of us get ther perks of mondo EXP.

Adding fame points, and special perks from them would really enhance the entertainer experience, IMHO. It would make RP more enjoyable, as when I run missions, and I wait for a shuttle to go somewhere, I entertain the people waiting also. I RP with them, saying I am going to be famous one day, you know...

The name up in lights at the front of the cantina would be a really intresting draw. Person with the highest fame over a minimum amount would be the one displayed. Nice!

Looking from an Artisan point of view. Man I could make a killing crafting posters for entertainers. The poster could then be signed by the Entertainer and placed in a house.
