Never thought of that either. That would be awsome!

*giggles* Got asked for my autograph the other day and if this had been AC1 I could have done so on a piece of parchment... has anyone figured out how to do this here? Other than creating a signed slitherhorn?

...and what about being able to put sandwich boards on droids (for a fee of course) that would roam through the town advertising dancers? Little R2 advertising machine?

This thread gets my THREAD OF THE DAY award.
And no, I'm not being sarcastic.

Yes, it is wonderful. We should all marvel at it, and not at all mind the outrageous charges to participate. (In flying)

To be famous or infamous, there needs to be a dark(er) side as well for the naughty (but nice) ones! We can't all be good girls! And we need some rock n roll antics, cantina trashing, stimpack abuse etc..... dangle babies from balconies, bite heads off Wamp rats.

As far as the dark side of being an entertainer... I see entertainers with Spice addiction puking all over the place.

Just say no to Shadow Paw!

I would love to have dancing fame! Seems like it would be a great feature to add on tothe NPC entertainer missions. Just have a new factions point for fame. As you complete an entertainer mission you get x # of fame faction points. As you go higher in the fame tree you get harder missions to the point where you'll need body guards/security to protect you during them... Just like real famous people!

Lol, imagine if you could take a screenshot and use that as the poster =)

I think giving a few more defence bonus's scattered throughout the dancer proffession would also be nice.

Just like most things, you have to know how to shop for it.
Ironically, the cheaper fares usually have better service, to boot. Southwest Airlines (or another directional affiliate) will get you to most of the US for the same price as a bus ticket in a fraction of the time.

Shop smart. Shop S-mart.

Back on the subject, this could overlap nicely with the fact that cantinas always look like normal buildings, as if there's a galaxy-wide ban on advertising on the side of the building...having someone's name in lights outside would attract people to the fact that it's a cantina, at all.

Hee hee! I thought we were on topic! I thought that you were likening people who want "fame" for dancers to people who complain about in-flight meals! I.e. the "plane" is SWG; it is wonderful and amazing, and we should all enjoy it immensely. The lack of "fame" was a complaintequal to "the in-flight meals suck"!

My response about the outrageous price of flying was akin to saying "We pay enough to play this game that we feel justified in complaining or requesting additional services".

I didn't realize that your comment was a tagline until I read another one of your posts. #^&* authours, always tricking us with wordses...

I think this would be an increadible idea! It would add a certain element to being a dancer. Granted being a dancer with lots of exposure grants some benifits, like lots of tips, or free clothing. In my case Im a male wookie dancer and my friend makes me pleany of new cloths once they are avalible to her. This way when Im on at the cantina I can model the new line of wookie clothing and pimp out my friends shop. With this arrangemnet I get lots of repeat veiwers, my friend makes money, and I get free clothing! I would love to have something more to shoot for than free clothing and people to talk to. The thought of getting bonuses for being famous anddesired by fans would be a great addition.

They need to tie in things like Fame to the dancing and musician trees so that the more people that watch you or a group you are inthe more fame points you get (similar to UXP for tailors). Fame points can then either be turned in to get various perks, or it can be a static trait which would influence NPCs.

A Master Musician or Dancer with high fame would therefore end up with better prices at the Bazaar terminals, special missions (gigs) which pay VERY well, various NPC groupies (roadies?) who can be used to follower the entertainer or bodyguard the entertainer.

This could prove to be extremely useful to entertainers in those post-CU street thug encounters!

NPC Bodyguards would be awesome! Factions get them. Why not entertainers?

(Yes, I necro'ed this. The majority of the people here have probably never heard of "UXP" )
