Wow...
If that really means what I hope it means -- that random-profession-mastering and AFK macro-grinding will no longer be essential parts of becoming a Jedi -- then I have to say maybe things are looking up.

Wow, that is good news, and totally unexpected.
I know people worry that there will be "too many Jedi running around" if the path to the Jedi is known and attainable. But right now it is known and attainable anyway, and on top of that it is stupid. Even if there were a bunch of Jedi running around everywhere, I'd rather have a bunch of at-keyboard Jedi unthematically running all over town, than a bunch of AFK macro grinders.
LOL... glad I never really paid any heed to my holocrons. I had Kaja (my newest char, on eclipse) try hers just because I was curious. I'd been planning to have her be a musician and the holo said... "Master Musician." So it had no effect on me whatsoever other than to laugh.

I bet people who have completed 15 professions right now are not happy /snicker. Oh did I snicker aloud?
I just feel really vindicated that I stuck to my chosen profession and it now turns out that I, too, can get a FSslot through other means.
Hopefully things will return to normal soon (i.e. people will be crafting decent goods again)

Technically, holocrons and such have never been the only way to reach Jedi.. but.. it is the only known way. so.. yeah. ... I got nothin'.

all i can say is Woo Hoo. at least there will be a better way to find the force sensitive slot than to grind professions like a madman.

About time!
Good things come to those who wait. We have waited and we have been rewarded! Rejoice!
