I'm looking to get myself all great and glowy (which is a long and arduous journey, by the way) but I wascurious, what benefits does a FS dancer have? Do I get to give better buffs? Flirt better with the customers? 
(oh wait...I'm MARRIED now...I have to stop that! /slap self BAD AY'LA!)

The only FS skills that apply to Dancers or Musicians are the 4 boxes of healing in the Heightened Senses line. With that we get a whopping +20 to (wait for it) Mind Wound Healing! (the crowd roars!).
Why didn't I take my free unlock in something like that branch that makes you drive your vehicle better?

yeah, just the mind wound healing mods. Which of course, since they sped up the wound healing, it makes this even more useless. Ah well.
You could do some other quests though, and if you have extra experience you wanna get rid of, you can use your dance experience to "get lucky"or be able tosurvey a 64 x 64 area. I suppose that might be useful to someone...?

ugh, that blows....I don't want to be just another Jedi clone so I won't be doing that but I am getting seriously bored with the content or lackthereof in this game and I was hoping that FS dancer quests might be something to get this halfway exciting again. My other branch is TKA with some medic and scout mixed in there for good measure. Sigh....save me SOE, I'm falling....

Not to mention that you need Master MEDIC to even take and complete the quest required for the DANCER mods (yes,yes, I know, they also have some Medic Mods, but still, see my point?)

Well, actually you just need novice medic. But, you'll have to buy stims from those who can make them. Either way though, there is no entertainer quest in the village.

They really need to give us alternate quests that entertainers can do without having to take Artisan or Medic. After all, you can do the Reflexes and Combat quests without actually having specific professions... my 100% NON-Combat Entertainer on Eclipse did the Reflexes Quest for Phase 2... but there is no way she could possibly do either the Phase 1 or the Phase 4 Senses Quests (one because she would never be able to get Master Medic and the other mostlybecause it's too dangerous).

Even on my "combat toon" I'm not taking the FS grind all that seriously. I couldn't imagine doing it as a dancer. The system is, well, c r a p. I've done some of the quests to unlock different things on Silencio, but have not even trained any of them accept for one (whole line of ranged defense, which I'll probably drop anyway). There are far too many jedi and I'm not impressed when I see one running around cause normally there are 1000 others right behind that one Not to mention, the average jedi is overly cocky and overly arrogant... Yoda and Obi would cry if they had half these people to deal with.

Not sure if novice medic is enough.
I tried it once, since i didn't need the other quests and wanted the Senses tree. And I'm almost sure I got the message "You need Master Medic for this".
Think at that time i even had Novice Medic.

Nor am I. I wanted a plant so I did that quest and also a quest that opens one of the combat branches on my tkm/doc..funny..so underwhelming I can't even recall which one now. I haven't even made a second trip to the village on my entertainer..why bother? I'm starving for content for the professions I choose to play. I'm not giving those professions up so I can participate in content that was designed with the intent of leavingus out of it. I just want to know why. Why are other non-combat professions included in the village quests but not us?

That is the Phase 1 Senses quest. For the Phase 4 Senses quest, you only need Novice Medic. They really need alaternate quests that entertainers CAN do without changing their templates.

Mais is right. I did the Phase 4 senses quest, which gives entertainers the mind wound healing bonus. And, I only took Novice Medic for it. And, even though I wanted Persuasion, I wasn't willing to ruin my template and grind up to Master Medic to do so.

Though Persuasion would seem kinda cool for an Entertainer, appearing as a Rebel or Imperial to whoever walked in, knowing things about your customers ahead of time... how does that one work anyway?
