/shush pappi
but now thats the complete list, from your responses. look em over, and pick out your 10 favorite. and next weekend i'll do some math and present a top ten list. from there we start working on making them presentable and well groomed.
please remember, no more than 10.(this is like the express lane at the grocery store)

That is a good list, apart from the first line, we need the devs with us not against us.
The list needs breaking down into what we would like asap, soon and near future.
I do think the increased abilities such as dodge, burst run etc, related to fitness/health, should be in the asap list so that pure ents have some means of escaping aggro.

If I was to look for the most surefire way to alienate my chances of being taken seriously bya dev team with a compiled list of requests, this is how I'd start things off.
Look... we may be frustrated at times as Dancers, but does anyone think this is a wise way to open up something asking those devsfor reform and improvements? And should a dev come and look in on the Dancer forum to see what's going on, and see this opener, would anyone be surprised if they just /rolleyes, and didn't bother to come back here for a few months?
Dancer correspondents have fought long and hard to have this community's concerns taken seriously since the beginning. I would ask that this be edited before there's any chance of it doing damage to the work that's been done on behalf of the profession. Looking out for Dancers interests is a tough enough job - I see no reason to make it any harder than it already is.
*shrug*
Whatever...
However, I am not a correspondent, I am a customer. And as a customer, I do not like these implications that we should "ask" the Devs to give us some attention, that we should beg them and be nice or else they'll tell us to go stand in a corner again for the next two years.
That's all I have to say about this. If you don't like my suggestion, feel free to vote it out. Because that is supposed to be a voting thread here, which everyone seems to miss.
Don't bother replying to this post, I won't read it. I'm outtahere and won't be back in this thread. I've had it with playing nice
Okay, while many of us are not happy with the responses and attention we've gotten/not gotten by SOE, I feel that if this thread is to be taken at all seriously, we need to be constructive and keep it to viable options. Getting a new dev team is not going to happen, and allowing such a statement is going to cause more harm than good - plain and simple. I mean just look at the fact that this is the most discussed portion of the list already. This is why I didn't reply tothe original threadin the first place. No offense to Ailar or anyone else who feels this strongly about the current dev team, but wishing them away isn't going to help our cause. And making it look like it'sthe number one priority on this unofficial wish list is liable to make things more difficult than not.
Are you entitled to your feelings? Certainly. Should you be allowed to state them here? Definitely. Just realize that while you have every right to express them, don't hold to them so tightly thatthey jepardize our profession's chances of actually getting the positive attention of the dev team that we need and getting some of the items on this wishlist.
/hug to Ailar
Since (and including) JTL the Dancer proffesion has had so much stuff given to it quite frankly it's excellent.
It's not everything we wanted but it sure as hell is a good amount of usefull work, with the exception of group sizes and CURRENTLY the oversight of no elite 'buffing'.
New Dances
Buffbots gone
No need for accagram to ent
New flo's
Quad mastery possible
That is a GOOD amount of development gone into our proffession. There was a fubar in the CU granted BUT the devs have admitted their mistake ( by saying they will give us new stuff and pushing the inspiration buffs out which I'm sure where NOT origonally planned in the CU ) so to criticise the devs quite frankly is well IMO disrespectfull.

QFE!!!
Now, last month, I was talking to a couple of mystery devs and asked what their forum names were. Their response was that forums were a scary place because all the players do is say how much they hate the devs.
Imagine this, if part of your job were to participate in a discussion with your customer base who hates you, all the time, as you follow instructions and do your job. Would you want to do that? Doubtful. Nobody wants to be flamed, criticised, and hated simply for doing their job.
Do the devs need to all be fired? Of course not. They are some of the best coders in the industry, why on earth would you fire them because they are following instructions not to your liking, and who knows from just how high up those instructions come? Saying that they should lose their jobs is going to reinforce a negative impression about the player base, an impression already well-founded from many comments on this forum, and will put an unreasonable request at the start of a mostly reasonable list.
Prefacing our biggest desires with a statement that will alienate the devs does a disservice to the profession, and is counterproductive.
i put that in there cuz it was mentioned in part one. and this is only part two, i have several more steps in mind before trying to present this. i knew it was sarcastic, but i thought it was kinda funny so i left it in. if it is the consensus of the island tovote it off the list, i'll edit it out. but you've all got to go and edit it out of your posts to the thread too ![]()
p.s. the above list is a completly unbiased recount of the wishlists that were presented in an earlier thread
