People aren't going to pick up ranger just to heal BF.
What about Scout x/x/x/3+
If this goes to rangers only, then might as well not even make the changes, because I'm sorry but people aren't gonna run to pick up ranger just to get BF healed in the field...its just not gonna happen.

Any feedback from development on this concept yet?
(Edit: I only ask because this thread has been up here for a month and a half. Might be wrong of me to expect a quick response to ideas such as this

j/k, don't need a bunch of false rumors started, and apparently there's no hard decision yet. But I hate to see dragging feet! Guess I'm a little too spontaneous to be a developer, eh? I'd probably throw out a hotfix that puts all new players in hawtpants and warps anybody that puts up an afk tag while skill animating into the Sarlacc Pit or the rancor lair under Jabba's throne. It might be fun...

Battle fatigue healing in Ranger camps has been on my agenda ever since I found out there was such a thing as a Ranger. I don't think it should go to scouts though, only Rangers and pathetically slow in a ranger camp without an entertainer (similar to an empty cantina).
When I was leveling up dance, I got the majority of my healing xp in camps, not cantinas. If Bf healing were a camping option I'd probably never set foot in a cantina. I've always seen the role of dancers as support to combatants and the social side of it was more of a novelty. I understand my view is probably notin line with themajority but I think there are probably a few others like me who would like to see a bit of mobility to help make us more usefull.
For me the cantina scene isn't much of an issue. Getting a good group of entertainers together and performing in an active cantina is just one MORE way to have fun with a dancer character. I don't see why we need to be chained there. Mobility=good.

option number two would be very nice but only when entertainer is working together with actual ranger and not just a scout.
Yep I do adore rangers…. There is just something about a self-sufficient man:-p

I would like to see Option 2 in effect.. Option 1 makes entertainers bascily non needed. If any scout can heal BF then why search out a entertainer. Make it so that the entertainer can heal BF in camps.

After reading Eaca's post on his solution I think THAT might be the compromise that can be included in Ranger Camps to heal Battle Fatigue and Mind Wounds and it is that concept I'd like everyone to consider here.
Allow a Ranger Camp, and by extension possibly a droid link up to a live registered Entertainment Holonet and download the feed for watching. It increases the value of ranger camps, droids and our profession without helping out afk and buffbots.
I urge everyone to think about Eaca's proposal because I think it CAN be sold to fighters, rangers and others and if we got many professions behind it rather than just two or three here then Developers might be a lot more inclined to look at it and enrich our content and those of others.

my opinion?
let ranger camps act as full cnatinas and permit bf healing and for the final camp mind buffing (final cmap sohuld also get a bar and npc bartender 
)

Given those choices # 2 is the only possibleoption and I'd rather see the BF healing in the Hi-tech Field Bases instead of all camps.
Option # 1 is blasphemous.
(CPR on the dead post just because the musicians are stirring it up again :smileywink

I vote for Option 2.
I think the camp should have to be a Master Ranger camp.
I get tired of 'breaking into' other people's houses to heal BF
