I have a life dipsh*t! I have a job that makes me play on off hours. If you don't want afk entertainers thats fine. I will start the list here. FOR AHAZI ONLY. All entertainers please leave your phone number, area code first and when I need to be healed in the wee hours of the morning I will call you. Fair enough?
ask we speak, i'm afking my other account for music. it's fun. i can't wait to get back home and see how far i got.

Well, for your information, I have a job that I work all off hours as well, but still seem to have time to dance and play during the time alot of people are on during the day. So like nvoight said, if I need crafting done, can I call you during the daytime say around 2-3 in the afternoon?? Oh wait....why don't you put your guy up...make a macro so he can craft things and just bot it....no, that won't work...because the entertainers are the ONLY ONES that can be done with. Now, you see how silly that sounds praising the AFK people and the reason the profession is going downhill?
entertainers are the only ones able to macro?
What about macro-sampling resouces?
I'm a master dancer. I dont need the xp. I got nothing but cudos and big hearty thank-you's from my guild-mates because I macro-danced during the day.
Our city was raided, and even though I was afk, I macro-healed. My macro also has a /join in it.. so that I will join groups if invited. That means I can afk mind-buff. I was able to donate MY bandwidth for connection and donate my services to my guild (and anyone else that comes into my cantina) and 'work' in-game while I work RL.
Exactly how is this destroying the profession?
Dancers are indeed one of the few that can fully benefit from macros.
Dancers are also one of the few non-combat professions that cant peddle their wares on a vendor. They're not crafter, nor combat.
Macro's allow a dancer to turn her own body into a vendor. While thats about as colorful as Vader's underwear, folks gotta work even in Star Wars.
If folks AFK their way to master dancer, they're hurting themselves by not participating in the incredible social aspect of the game (often overlooked). They're punishing themselves enough. Let them pick their own switch and be done with it.
You're obviously very passionate about the profession. A great many of us are. That alone thwarts any possibility ofharming this profession. In any profession, expect a certain amount of churn. AFK macro dance-grinders are just a part of that.
dudeth! you just singlehandledly killedith an entire professionith! while your guildmates were thanking you, i say "screew thee! and thine guild, because your fun isn't a concern to us cantina chatters!" healing your guildmates was WRONG. it definately made baby jesus cry.
one time i did my homework while dancing, and let the macro run, and god came down and smote my genitals.

Quite clearly OUR fun as entrtainers is of no concern to you, since when we say things are damaging our fun your reaction is basically "*bleep* all you guys."
So getting on here saying that dancers' attitude is "*bleep* whatever you think is fun" is a tad hypocritical, since you have been saying the same to us for months.

Yes it did...the people who liked putting on performances and cared about doing things like that dropped the dance because the AFK'ers overrun the cantina and some got fed up with it.
it'sbecause there is no interest in fixing those venues, there's no interest in entertaining in this forum, no interest in how someone put a group together and hit the starport. it's all about whining about "our space" being "overrun". post an idea about how to make it fun to play ATK and you get 3 responses. if that.post a thank you to an afk musician who healed someone at 3am and get 400 flames.
Apparently you are not a "people person" or like to chat and rollplay with other people, that is probably the biggest plus of the entertainer profession and the biggest reason alot of us started dancers and musicians. The cantinas in Theed and Coronet are the most populated and where alot have fun playing at...now with all of the bots being in there standing right in the middle of the floor yelling for tips and stuff is getting out of hand, yes you can /addignore them but it doesn't help the people who again, want to put on a show and not have to worry about moving around to avoid the bots who insist on doing formal or lyrical right smack dab in the middle. Yes eventually they will drift to the side, but until that time they are a nuisence....flat out period for the people who want to rollplay. So yes, I argue again that the AFK'ers hurt the profession because they are making people quit who have been masters for a while now who are tired of it whether you see it or not. I have talked to several....several other old dancers and musicians on Kettemoor who are tired of it and want to see it stop. I was at the keyboard the entire time I went up in Master Dancer and when I had to step away for more than a minute or two, I stopped and sat down. I went to Kettemoor to sell some clothes to someone and I saw no less than 12, yes 12 people AFK and even the group leader...now that's getting way out of hand and needs to be stopped.

the afks overrun 2 cantinas. 2. all the others are empty. they got fed up because they had no interest in entertaining only chatting in theed.

jesus just stab me in the brain. do it. put me out of my misery. who is forcing you to "chat and rollplay" with people only inside the coronet cantina? you can't chat or "rollplay" anywhere else? what makes it so you cant "chat and rollplay" outside the coronet starport? what makes it so you can't put on shows in the coronet theater? what about inside the coronet starport? probably the highest trafficed area in the game.

what don't you people get about IT'S NOT GOING TO STOP. it's time to stop being bastiges about it and find alternatives. your pitiful gray theed/coronet chatrooms are DEAD. move on. there are thousands of other venues, there are sooooo many places in this game to hang out and chat. there are probably 1 billion better venues to dance than the cantinas. there are better lit places, better trafficed places, better sounding places, better looking places, less confined spaces. I was in Theed the other day, and one of the zombies sprung to life asking for training. I had to ask "You don't have a macro to do that for you?". Oddly, they didn't actually stick around the cantina to see if anyone would train them. They asked, then 2 seconds later ran out the door.
and you've shown you can't read. i didn't ask why people go to the coronet cantina, i asked why they don't use any of the other 3 billion venues in coronet. but it's ok, i already know the answer.
