Thread: So much hatred for AFKers.
yeah
take away afk macro'in in cantinas and all these exact same people will be complaining about how they cannot get healed as fast as they should be or how they are denied service constantly and cant get healed at all....they are called Greifers and they will never stop
even the ones who are entertainers themselves will not be for long..they are just greedy and want tips but dont want to have to do anything except hang out and chat to get em...oh yeah and every so often type /setperform.ooooohhhhh........even they run macros for everything and oh yeah tell them not to get up and used the restroom or go outside and smoke w/out logging out too....thats right dont even take ur eyes off ur screen GRIEFERS
*thanks the devs for the ignore list and deny list*
none the less master titles in swg are nothing....they mean nothing...are nothing and will never be anything anyone can master any skill in no time with no effort...its not just entertainers....i've seen countless marksman and brawlers buffed with macro attacking and looting and healing at spawns and dont say you are special and thats not you cause...hehe...then you are the dumb one because i can go to work and have massive xp built up when i get home while you on the other hand can sit there and grind out with mouse in hand...thats your choice
*KICKS ALL GRIEFERS IN THE GROIN*
UR ALL JUST GRIEFERS...SHUT THE *@#$ UP!!!!
if someone wants to be afk...they paid...they are paying and their shouldnt be anything you can or should even want to do about it...dont tip afk...dont listen/watch afk
lol....everyone of you has listened and watched afk because if you didnt...hmmm you would still be injured
last but not least in the infamous words of a fellow gamer for the past 5 years
ALL UR SOULS BELONG TO SOE
whatever nimrod
duping credits and afk macro'in are two different things
thats why accounts have been banned for one and most accounts do the other daily
SHUT THE ? UP
So you are saying that nothing we can do will stop you from AFKing? You are right, Affiliate. Nothing we can do will stop you from AFKing. However, why do you have to come here and somehow justify to us why we have to like it? Why does our opinion mean that much to you, especially because we are too stupit to set a macro whilst we sleep or go about our day? Is it because you know that the vast majority of the players on the servers actually think of it as a COMPLIMENT that a dancer takes the time to be live and at the keyboard? Its true. My tips are proof. Are you, dare I say, JEALOUS Affiliate?
Indeed, the AFKers I have found are secretly shameful of their actions. They set their timer flags for a long time, so the dreaded AFK banner does not show. They macro emotes and spatial dialouge to simulate a player that is at the keyboard. They do these things because they KNOW that deep down inside they are doing something that may be authorized, but is nonetheless frowned upon by the majority of players.
So it boils down to this: We can't stop you from AFKing. However, just because SOE says you can, doesn't mean we are forced to like it.

Because hunters will go into my empty cantina and get their BF healed instead of travelling all the way across the map to get healed. They get healed, and I get healing xp in the process. It's a win-win situation.
Are you certain? It looks like a win-win-lose proposition from my vantage point. What does this exchange do exactly?
The combatant gets healed.
The entertainer gets xp (and maybe a tip).
The atmosphere loses some teeth.
Does anyone remember how difficult Endor was? If you got Mind wounds, you had to either fly somewhere else or hire an Entertainer. It was an inconvenience. People were more careful.
But how disastrous are Mind wounds now that heal bots are popping up? Not that much of a problem now. Certainly not like the times when combatants said, "Oh crap, if I keep this up, I'll go down so fast!"
But if this is truly a win-win situation, then I will petition to remove all those worthless professions. Get rid of Medic, Smuggler, Chef, Weaponsmith, etc. Just remove them. Why should I have to hunt these people down to play the game? Dantooine is too tough for me. Give me a sliced spraystick and heal me for free, please.
I would argue that this situation affects more than just the combatant and the entertainer. It affects the entire game.
Besides, how healthy is it to have the combatant grow soft while the entertainer dismisses the need to pay for healing?
