AFK... hmm yeah, sounds like any and every cantina I go to I think it's sad to be completely honest, you spend your money paying for a game, and then you walk away from it? I honestly think that is now only stupid, but pointless. I mean yeah, sometimes it makes sense to go AFK, going to the bathroom, getting food, what ever, but when you are gone for hours on end... that's a "No No." The Worst Place you see it is Dant. Minning Out Post, it seems like ALL the dancers/musicians are AFK, and Why? Whenever I go AFK I come back to 50 tells asking for buffs... people PAY more if you are ATK.

I don't know, I mean I do plenty of things while I'm dancing, I'm a leader of a guild, I help people with problems, I honestly don't know why people have to be AFK 24/7.

I don't HATE AFK dancers though... it just bothers me.

I would not mind people who go AFK at all if they did jusr 2 things..

1. Shut the *Beep* up. So we can have conversations without your STUPID spam that 90% of the time turns people OFF you.

2. Turn the AFK on. So people looking for buffs can walk in and see who is AFK really Easly, and not waist time in Zombie Zones..

Two Simple easy things and I think 75% of all ATK Dancers could pasified..

*shudders* I logged into the Mos Eisley cantina today and came across a Trandoshan male in his underwear playing the Ommni Box. (with flourishes in sequential order--how much more boring can you get aside from just spamming the same flourish?) Worse yet, he had a female avatar (still in her newbie clothes) spamming /cheer twice every 5 seconds. I'm guessing the creator of the macro hadn't a clue in the world how to write a proper macro and that it looked something like this:

AnnoyEveryone
/cheer
/pause 5
/cheer
/macro AnnoyEveryone

By the time I had loaded into the world, "CheerBot cheers for NakedTrando" had filled my entire chat box. Both the naked trando and his cheerbot were AFK (imagine that) Luckily for him, he wasn't spamming, but I happily filed a /report against her and gave myself a /cheer.

Anyway, I just wanted to rant a little and the thread happens to be at the top of the forum right now and is the only proper place for ranting pro/anti AFK. Though I do have a couple of constructive notes for people: 1. Spam should *always* be /reported, AFK or not. 2. If you are an AFK macrotainer, let me save you a few dollars per month--it's really not worthwhile to have a full-time cheerbot. The tiny bonus xp for a /cheer is pointless in the long run, it really is.

Odd, I logged into Eisley last night too and there were three macrobots spam begging for people to /cheer for them for the exp boost...

I hate AFK Dancers/Musicians. Someone was trying to defend them when I was in the group and told me to change the song to one the AFKer could do. She kicked me from the group for not changing for an AFker. If they want to ENJOY they game then they can be apart of the experience. Not stand back and let a macro do it.

i am against AFK dancing....but grinding while i sleep seems to be the only way i can actually get ot master......




afk dancers should just do it in their own houses......




afk spam asking for tips is the worst.....i jsut laugh when i see it....

The actual act of AFK'ing dancing or music doesn't particularly bother me, as far as I'm concerned the only person they're screwing by being AFK is themselves. What gets up my nose iswhere they AFK i.e.AFK'ers still congregate in the cantinas and spam! It's not like being in the cantina affects the XP any more, they don't need to be watched, so why can't they go do their AFK'ing some place else so that those of us who do want to actually be there don't have to fight through a mess of screen rubbish and zombies to perform?

I was actually really happy when I read that someone had buffed in the Force Village, I was hoping that all the people who are just grinding the XP would go away up there so they could trade their XP in more easily. Unfortunately seems like it was just a fluke.

The thing I hate the most when I walk a cantina and perform is all the AFK/zombie bots I see. I always tell others not to dance afk and my entertainers guild does not but thing I hate the must is:

Plz tip me I need the creds or Come watch a real dancer preform for you as that dancer keeps sending spam out and is sitting in the center of the floor doing this.

I also dislike when I see people ripping off Noobs like buy Barcs for 1mil or less or not trying to give them help when they come to someone saying plz help me and the cl 80 goes leave or something rude like that.
