HAHAHAHAHAHA!
Do you have any idea HOW MANY entertainers have left this game because of the lack of attention we've received? ANY FRIGGIN' IDEA!? The notion that a slight increase in difficulty of finding a mind buff will completely ruin PvP is absolutely ridiculous! I'm not happy about this bug, but get a goddamn clue, bro, please! IT'S NOT THE END OF THE WORLD WHEN YOU CAN'T USE YOUR BUFFBOT. Period. Now grow some balls, approach your nearest friendly live entertainer, and ask kindly for a mind buff. Maybe add them to your friends list! Or are you not man enough to talk to a female in skimpy clothing? Can't figure out how to work a chat channel? Have no clue how to interact with society?
I am SO sick of listening to some people whine about this sh*t. I was a Master Rifleman for 9 months after launch and never ONCE complained about the rarity of a mind buff. Do you know why? I made a point to have 3 or 4 live ones in the guild I ran. Just grow the hell up, people! Use your brains for once, and make a few friends!
ROFL!!
I'm sorry, I just woke up and this put me into hysterical fits of laughter.
I certainly understand why some people would get the impression that some dancers liked this bug. That was *my* impression, which is why I started ranting about how bad it really was...I was pretty shocked at some of the attitudes I saw. So, I don't in the least fault some of the combat players for getting the impression that we liked this bug. I'm glad more dancers have come out and said how much they hated it. I would hate for everyone to come down on us like they did when we learned the recursive macro was ending.
However, Til is absolutely right here! It's not the friggin end of the world if people can't get a mind buff. People *can* survive without them. People need to learn that all it takes is a little time to research and find some entertainers, same way you research and find whatever else you need in the game. The payoffs in the future will be tenfold when you have a large list of entertainers you can call friends who will provide you with buffs whenever you need them. It's so *ridiculous* to think that of all things, not being able to take the effort to find some entertainers to buff you will cause loads of PvP'ers to leave. Those who do because they don't have what it takes to simply spend some time in Cantinas during their downtime making contacts is going to *pale* in comparision to the hundreds (maybe thousands), of entertainers who have left becaue their gameplay has *truly* been made unviable. So, I just had to QFE Til's post because he is absolutely 100% correct.
Stop being a baby and make a friend or two.

What I did last night.I knew there'd be a lot of unhappy people failing to get buffs soI went out with my Starsider entertainer, alas she has Master Musician, and just enough dancer to do 81pc buffs with an sea to help. But I went round where I knew a fair few bots were and people were getting stuck not getting their dance buffs, and I explained it was a bug from the patch, I explained how you could get dance buffs, and I explained a live dancer would be better than the bots right now, grab em before any more bot teams appear.
I think my outings were quite successful, I even did a few dance buffs for people not fussed about it not being quite 100pc.
0.
You guys can go cry about your buff bots being broken all night long. The fact is that people have become so used to looking for AFK bots and using them that they just don't even know HOW to ask for a buff from someone actually playing a character with the skill. I was online at 12:30 last night with 5 other ATK performers and we didn't see even one player come through looking for buffs. This was in Theed's cantina, not some unused NPC town like Keren or De'ja Peak.
Of course the only way i have yet to try has been one dancer and one musician only doing just that. I am not in control of the current dancer(s) for my test so I can not set them to only dance and only play. And ive grown far to upset and tired over this retarded bug to care anymore. Ill go to sleep now and pray for a hotfix in the morning or at least soon.. If not could be the termination of my accounts. 90% of my reason to play is PVP. I can not pvp without mind buffs.
And yes not 126 but 160 to 200 minutes was my estimation.. how did I come by that?
Takes 4 minutes to do dance
Takes 4 minutes to do music
Gave 1 minute for resting time/swapping time
= 9 minutes total for one person (group leader or if he has a live dancer/musician then yeah that one ent /setperforming on him/her)
For my calculations I actually just said to hell with it and used 8.
8 minutes of buffing for one person x 10 people = 80 minutes
80 minutes timx 2 (10 people x 2 = 20 people) = 160 minutes
If any problems/slowness occur it could be upwards of 10 minutes (or longer if forgotten to invite, etc, etc) at 10 minutes x 20 people = 200 minutes.
That is where my calculations come from.
Again so far in my testing I have yet to find a sure fire way that gives me mind buffs EVERY SINGLE TIME when I am not group leader/had the ent /setperform me).
Now if for some reason with 2 ents EVERYONE in group can get it.. then its just a matter of getting 2 ents doing their own thing and making sure their macros match up etc etc. That in itself is quite the chore.. While we do have 2 afk ents in our cantina most of the day the people that own them do not log them in simultaneously as they are seperate players. Making it impossible to coordinate or determine which one should do which buff etc.
This takes 6 months to fix? I can see a substantial amount of PVP'ers gone from the game until either its returned to normal or until the mind pool isnt so important/
