I don't think anyone does not want to believe that seven year olds play this game. What people seem to not want is to be held responsible for other people's children, who are playing a game that is marketted as being 'teen'. Last time I checked, seven years old was too young for this game. If there are children that young playing, they should be supervised by their own parents, or not playing at all. STOP foisting *your* children off on everyone else-if you don't want to have the responsibility of parenting, keep your parts in your pants.

Arfindel, maybe your parents should be giving more supervision to your little brother. God knows it's not MY job.

While I'm afraid that the only thing I've gotten from this thread is that dancers can be just as intolerant and closed-minded as anyone else, I do feel compelled to point out that it wasn't Arfindel who posted about his little brother. That was actually TrollGeek, who Arfindel was accusing of being a "troll". That is, someone who posts inflammatory stuff on a thread just to stir things up.

And no, I'm not picking on Velvet at all. I think what she said, though directed at the wrong person, was perfectly correct.

I do think that people have gotten so wrapped up in the whole emotional thing of "I'm not going to censor myself to protect your kids or your sensibilities" that they've sort of missed an opportunity to talk about what it was that TailorElek actually said. That doesn't seem to be either here nor there at this point, so prolly best to let it lie now.

i really dont see the problem, im a rifleman i get screwed up more then any other fighter class so i spend alot of time in the cantina, 1 out of every 4 people has a flesh wrap and besides whenever im in the cantina i could careless what they are wearing, i go /watch /listen then i mind my business im always cought up in tells i dont have time to watch dancers nor does it matter, aslong as my bf and mind wounds go away im fine with however they dress, i get up i tip i walk away i dont even bother to look.

Though i do admit younger kids may be a problem. but seriously does anyone watch tv shows like paradise hotel or anything like that? more skin on that then on swg and its on one of the most popular tv stations, well thats all... i guess

I actually refused to buy a flesh wrap or leotard until recently. I have a wide variety of clothes that I rely on more than flesh. Only when I'm servicing a customer that wants more flesh do I even put it on.

This is a game, people play it to have fun, so if one like to wear a leotard or whatever, let her, let her use what she like's, let people play the way they want. Have fun.

I had this young girl come into the cantina and invited me into a group. I joined and then she started telling me "No cussing ok".I thought this was funny cause I never cuss in a public place. A few minutes later she says "I gotta go Pee, be right back". She comes back and we dance, some guy gives me a tip and I blow him a kiss. She kicks me from the group because "Thats Gross, this cantina doesn't allow kissing".

It was a good laugh.

I wear my exotic leotard alot and my grand ball gown about the same amount of time, I get about the same amount of tips and nice comments for either outfit I wear. Heck, I have a inventory just full of clothes and change often and get complements for whatever I wear. And yes I do have a fleshwrap. I don't wear it much, just depends on the dance I am doing. Usually for exotic1-4 I wear my grand ball gown, sometimes the exotic leotard just for kicks and stares. My friends and onlookers love the way I change outfits in the middle of a dance, one didn't even notice til the 4th outfit one night. Everytime I did the smoke balm, I came out in a different outfit. They thought that was awesome and that got me some great tips.

as far as the topic of the thread......as I always say, if you don't like it, don't (look at it) (read it) (listen to it) Just don't goruin everyone elses fun. I let my kids watch me play and they are 5&6 yrs old. There is nothing they see in this game that they do not see on tv. Not like prople can run around naked (except for a bug I ended up with one day, that's when the kids got sent out of the room)

I forget who said it but if you are offended by Flesh Wrap's you don't have to go to the Cantina's to get healed. It seem's very interesting that after playing the game for probably quite a while that you see this as being offensive, did you not check out the game before buying it to know that there are going to be outfits like this in the game. You will find in any online role playing game that female costume's are going to be somewhat revealing. If you are so worried about your children viewing a female form in a Flesh Wrap you really shouldn't play the game then. I think it's unfair to "boycott" dancers just because they wear a Flesh Wrap, most dancer's don't make a lot of money so getting a outfit that on the normal cost 10k credits and then to go get another nice outfit will take a while. The game is based of the movies and books so obviously there is going to be items thatfit into the galaxy. Personally I think they need to raise the "teen" game due to the imaturity of the kids that play it, but then again some adult's are not any better than the kids. Maybe it should be suggested that some kind of filter be added that if you do not want to see non npc is outfit's that you find non appealing.

as a wookie it would be nice to just have something to wear that is not a green base......... padded armor sexy? think not........

and i still don't like them........... i offer every dancer i see in them a jacket............ so they don't die of a cold........

We all understand both the fleshwraps and exotic leotard designs come straight from the movies? So do the Bikini designs. Go watch Jedi again. then watch the "Special edtion" both designs show up.

And I love the intollarent parent calling dancer intollerent. Made my day. Your asking for people to adapt to your perception of what the world should be, and when the say no their intollerant. LOL

In the event there are some dancers out there who think you have to wear a flesh wrap to get a decent tip I'd like to make it known that some of us who are forced by the game system to visit bars do NOT appreciate seeing an excess of flesh, particularly those of us with young children.

I will not tip anyone wearing a fleshwrap, nor heal them, nor even give them the benefit of watching them.

You do have the option of covering yourself. If you choose not to that's your choice, but I'll not be tipping you.

Well, in that case... if ever I dance on Gorath server, I'll be sure to STOP DANCING (and I'll be sure to privately tell my group-mates of your narrow minded view as well) if ever I see you come into my Cantina! Good lord, what are you? Amish?!? Or do you log in from Afghanistan? LOL

Geez... it's Star Wars for Pete's sake! (Who asked Pete anyways?)

Do you cover your children's eyes when Leia has to dance for Jabba in ROTJ in her metal bikini?

In case you missed the BLATANTLY OBVIOUS... this game is rated T for Teen!

As for fleshwraps... they're cool. Not my fave item in the game (I prefer the Exotic Leotardand Luxurious Gown more for Exotic dance anyways) but I like 'em.
