Health, Action, Mind pools
- A character's maximum health will increase with the character's combat level up to 300%. New character health will be 1000, maxed character health will be 3000.
- Players will be able to reference their combat level.
- Short term buffs will modify this health value no more than 20%.
- Long term buffs will modify this health value no more than 10%.
- Species modifiers will affect no more than 10% of a base statistic.
I don't think it's time to panic just yet. A lot is changing, but that's happening to many of the professions. I personally have never been too concerned with mind wounds, maybe that's just the TKA in me, but I'm always spending twice as long healing my bf anyway. If bf is staying in the game, maybe they'll be making it a more meaningful hinderance. We may be able to buff to some capacity, so I have a wait and see attitudefor now.
What bothers me most is the statement highlighted in red. I've enjoyed playing a master dancer/tka for a long time. My city was Sunrunner's largest Imperial stronghold at one point, and I was pvping on a nightly basis. We had a coupleLIVEentertainer hybrid players that contributed to the protection of the city. I took pride being able to heal/buff minds, and fight for the cause at the same time. It really bothers me that my skillpoint investment in dancer is regarded as less than a 100% combat player. I still participate in combat, why am I being penalized? A 100% combat player should have the advantage over hybrids because of armor choices, weapon choices, skills and defenses available. What merits extra health. You're telling me some fatso rifleman/pistoleer is in better shape than a sleek dancer? Not to mention that they're adding an extra tree sp requirement in the brawler line. Between master dancer, master tka, and the24 points I have to spend to get a stupid extra character...I really can't dabble in anything else.

Honestly we don't know how they'll figure combat. I predict it will be figured much like the PvP rating. IE, the more battles you win the higher your combat rating will go.

I'm seriously considering dropping entertainer in favor of becoming a bounty hunter. I have half of the requirement for it already, all I need is to pick up novice scout and get the exploration line. As much as I would hate myself for dropping entertainer and for throwing out all the hard work that went into getting what I have, keeping several skill trees that are utterly useless is a waste.
After the CU the SP needed for BH is droppingYou won't need master marksman to master BH, just the ranged support line of marksman. You can be a MBH and still be a master dancer or musician after the CU goes live. As well have the pistols or carbine in marksman.
As for dancer or musician they are only wasted skill points if you don't like to dance or play music.

Oops...yeah I already have 8, I should add those on to make more sense!
